Hello all at the ECF,

I have lurked for a while, but am finally getting around the considering this mod.

I have been vaporizing from way back and love my volcano, so the idea of vaping isn't new to me. I even vaporize flower essentail oil in my volcano regularly, so when I saw the ecigs and their portability and size I said hell yeah!

What I am considering is basically making a cartridge with essence oil instead of the nicotine or no nicotine blends. I wondered if this would work for a while, then I looked up the the boiling points of both, and nicotine has a higher BP than Essence oil, so it should work without a problem with no actual mods to the ecig.

A note on the oil. It is made from flowers with everclear and the everclear is then filtered and reduced to a thick goo. It is the consistency of that thick red ball bearing grease and sticky as all hell. It could easily be thinned with alcohol enough to mix it with PG or VG, but I would rather keep it pure :), but it is way to thick/greasy to absord readily into any material, it would have to be worked in, so I think thinning will be necessary.

I have read a bit about using polyfil or teabags folded in particular fashion, also putting oils/flavor directly on the heating coil - which I would like more info on.

Since I have never owned a e cig I have no experience, but have looked at the pictures of one dissassembled on this forum, as well as saw the coil hooked up to the breadboard, which was neat. Vaporization is the same principle regardless.

What I would like to get out of this thread is opinions about the best way to go about this and if it seems like a good idea.

Also, do the ecigars have larger atomizers/cartridges?

I can also purchase the njoy locally, and would like opinions on that brand as well.

Thanks and I appreaciate the advice.

Edit: just read on another forum that you can dissolve 1/2g of flower essence in 1 tsp of VG is appropiate, but would love more opinions.
