I said I have alot of questions, I have seen alot if posts on when and where people vape but has anyone had any problems vaping in a no smoking hotel room, since alot of hotels are now going no smoking

No problems here. I wouldn't go blowing vapor into any smoke alarm as most are triggered by the same effect that smoke would cause.

No, no problem. I tell them I will be vaping, give them a demo at the desk, and had no problem. Thats opened a hell of a lot more choices for me since alot of places have gone no smoking at all. It was sometimes hard to find a smoking room at times on the road. Now it is easy. It would be almost like them objecting to you plugging in one of those Glade plug-ins.

One of the best things about vaping is getting to stay in non-smoking rooms.
I can assure you that you will have no problems.

I used to travel a lot, but I couldn't stand the smell of smoking rooms.
And that was even when I was a smoker!

So I used to do any or all of the following to deal with my issues...
--Go out front of the hotel to smoke
--Go into the stairwell to smoke
--Sit in front of an open window and blow the smoke out while holding the cigarette outside
--Smoke in the bathroom and blow the smoke into the vent

I don't have to do any of these things anymore.
And that is really, really nice.

Gotta say, I was at a convention in Dallas recently, and on the 24th floor of a building.

The entire hotel was non-smoking, and the convention caused the convention center, and, subsequently the hotel to be packed to the gills. There was a 30 minute wait at minimum to get on any elevators, and I'm not walking down 24 flights of stairs just to get my nicfix.

That's where my bliss with vapor really kicked off. I had the freedom to vape in my hotel room, guilt free, and I actually kinda felt bad for all the smokers standing outside in 100 degree weather to get a 15 minute fix and brave the elevator ride back up to their rooms.

Since then, I haven't looked back at cigarettes. Love it.

That is one of the many reasons I started looking at e-cigs, getting tired of going to the basement, outside in the bad weather and even Disney World Resorts have gone no smoking except in designated areas, then there is the smoking areas of a casino where I am already playing a slot machine and smoking and the no smoker sits down and starts the coughing or waving of the hands to keep the smoke away

Had no problem vaping at a non-smoking hotel at a wedding I went to a few weeks ago. I didn't ok it with the hotel or anything, it was a rural Kansas hotel, and I didn't expect anyone would know what it was. I was with family that didn't know I smoked or vaped so I didn't want any questions. But at the hotel, and in the rest room at the non-smoking reception hall attached to the church, I had no problem whatsoever. Just stayed discreet because I preferred to in that situation.

Since I started vaping, almost eight weeks ago, I've stayed in four different hotels. Not once has anyone known I was vaping in the room. If anyone noticed anything, it might be a slightly sweet smell or possibly a cinnamon smell. There are no laws or rules about using vaporizers, so I've not felt compelled to ask permission.

I really, really don't miss either going outside or smoking in the bathroom and trying to hide the smell. I've always hated that first smoke in the morning when I'd go outside and stare bleary eyed at the ground. Invariably, someone I know would come out and want to talk. Please don't talk to me when I'm not awake yet. You'll be lucky if I only grunt at you.

Oh, that's just so awesome!

I smoked for various reasons, but primarily these reasons...
--To take breaks from work
--To get alone with my thoughts
--To get away from uncomfortable situations

The thing is, I was not a social smoker.
I wanted to be alone when I smoked, and not be bothered.

If someone wanted to talk to me while I was smoking, I might tell them to go away.
Of course it depended on who it was, and what the situation was.

But if anyone DID talk to me while I was smoking my cigarette, I would have to smoke another.
This is yet another issue that no longer applies.

im in a hotel every week for work and this one im in now has a sign in the elevator "no lit tobacco products" i vape like hell on my way up to the 4th floor...

I know! I too have enjoyed the elevator vape. In other forbidden places as well. I guess its like a little revenge for being treated poorly for being a smoker.
