Yeah as long as your not acting sneaky no one will be suspicious. As for people being curious its bound to happen from time to time. I was at Yankee Stadium last night vaping in my seat, I noticed a few people glancing over after they saw a plume of "smoke", once they realized it wasn't an analog they just went about their business.

This is only about the 1000th thread started on this topic. I would suggest a search on vaping in public and you can read about it for days.

if people didn't talk about the same subjects over and over we would only need about 100 threads and they would all be 150K posts. Imagine the complaining about loading times...

Most people ignore me but I don't do it inside (smoking is illegal inside in my state). I know that it will make people uncomfortable. When I go to the movie theater I either vape freely in the bathroom stall (figuring I can only IMPROVE the smell around there) or a get a napkin together and vape during the movie (being careful not to release any vapor when I draw) and blow it out through the napkin and enjoy my movie without adding the fog special effect to the local scenery :) I've never been busted yet.

Well, I held my Blu in a weird way when I was at a goth club a couple weeks ago, I realized how it might look like I'm trying to smoke (tobacco or otherwise). It's just, the LED is so damn bright, and...well, it's a goth club. You could barely see three feet in front of your face. So I tried hard to cover it up, but my hands glowed blue. A bouncer came up and said, "You don't have to hide it. E-cigs are legal." I just laughed, because I not only didn't think of that, but I could care less if it was. I just didn't wanna blind anyone. :p

Imagine the looks you get when you carry around a provari topped with a penelope. Most of the time I don't think twice. If cops ask I tell them and they don't think twice. Only one time did someone think that it was a personal "vaporizer" of the other variety.

There are many times that I have started conversations with people over it. In fact people have taken pics of my gear and asked where they can get one. I carry around alcohol wipes so people can take a sample hit. Those that have tried those "little ones" are amazed at how my unit performs. Others that haven't tried one before love the flavor and the hit it gives them.

I'm very new to vaping (3 weeks or so) and haven't had any negative experiences yet. I follow smokers protocol and while in public don't vape where I couldn't smoke an analog. Most of the time people give me an odd/quizzical look then ask what the heck I'm sucking on. After a little explanation, I either get an eye roll or 20 questions.

I follow smokers protocol as well here in southern California. I've never had a cop or the like give me a hard time about vaping in public. But people here are so anti smoking that even though I'm not smoking I've been asked to stop/take it outside to the smoking section. So to avoide the issue I step outside (but don't always find the ash tray. No need too). I do get a lot of questions from the analog smokers and have given many ppl hits just to see them cough.

Okay, so I saw my sister who works at a bar last night. It was my high school reunion. I told her I quit smoking and my aunt ask how and I said I went to vaping. Well of course she wanted to try it. So right there in the bar she took a vape. Well the owner gave us a very dirty look and stated that vaping is not allowed in bars due to excise. You would have thought I was smoking a drug with the look I got from this lady. My sister and aunt are very proud that I have found a way to quit the analogs, though. I just found it odd that you are allowed to vape everywhere else in public except for a bar.... I really don't belive that excise has anything to do with vaping......
