Check with mall security would be best.

So i'm going to the mall later, and they used to sell e-cigs in the mall, but don't anymore because it was appealing to too many children or something (at least thats what i heard)

So anyone have any mall experiences?
Is there anyway to find out if vaping in that mall is ok?

My husband vapes in the public places quite often including airlines. I do not believe he has ever had any negative reaction from people. Most of the people are very curious...some even ask to try it. I feel he gets more criticism from the anti-hand gun people we know for having his concealed handguns license and carrying at all times. I don't think hubby has ever asked for permission to vape, he just does it. One of the suppliers that we order from sends us business like cards with educational information to pass out.

I personally do not vape in non-smoking areas that allow anyone under the age of 18 because I am a teacher in a small community.

In our local mall there is a Kiosk selling Nuvo-cig. I did check with Mall management who told me that e cig smoking was permitted in open public areas, but NOT inside individual stores and resturants unless their own management says it is okay.......... however, they did add "we would appreciate however, if you kept inside e smoking near the area of the e cigarette Kiosk, so visitors do not confuse what you are doing for smoking inside and cause a problem"

I vape all the time in big box stores, malls and such but I don't make a prodution of it
If/when anyone asks, I explain that it is NOT smoking and therefore no 2nd hand smoke
usually I'll unscrew it and explain how it works; and how it helped me to stop
most the time they say "go ahead" , your are not hurting anything
I've sent a dozen or so people to this forum for more info

I don't usually vape in the mall unless I am going by the e-cig kiosk, I too like to let people know there are better products then what they are selling. I do however discretely vape in casinos, there are no children there and my husband is a shift manager in one of the casinos and always allows people to vape at the tables. I have never had anyone ask me about it in the casinos yet.

So, vap away!

Just make sure that you're packing, and you won't get any complaints!

Works for me! :p:blush:

I have yet to see a kiosk at my local mall with e-cig stuff. And I wont vape inside there, I don't want the hassle right now and I was tired from shopping and people. It is posted about it being smoke free and it's considered a
business area' so they really limit 'smokers' from being outside/parking area to light up..you get the idea.
But with the encouragement from my daughter, I did vape a bit after we ate some food outside and I got a odd look from another watching me. Think he was trying to figure out why there was a blue light and clouds around me, lol.

I vape in the mall all the time. I vape in movie theaters, bars, restaurants, hospitals, ambulances, and once even in court (but not in the court room while the judge was in session of course). 90% of the time, no one ever says anything about it. A handful of times I've been questioned, but once I explain it to them they're more curious than anything else. Only once in the last year or so have I actually been asked not to vape somewhere.

I too find it awkward to vape in open public places due to the stigma attached to analog cigarettes. It's a catch-22 -- the term "e-cigs" has brought a lot of folks to vaping that would otherwise be killing themselves with analogs... but it also has attached the stigma's associated with cigarettes to us by uninformed people.

One item I have tried (thanks to another on this forum - I think his name was "Surgeon General") - is in movie theaters. I inserted my KR808 in a cup like a drinking straw and vaped through the whole movie. The only comment I've heard is "Anyone smell Waffles? Man that's making me hungry!" LOL!

Filed for future reference, this idea rocks.

Here in Florida, there is a small little ecig kiosk at our local mall. They are always vaping there. I'm not sure if that means vaping throughout the mall is permitted, but I personally only vape where smoking is allowed.

Same here, I've gotten so used to not smoking in establishments like malls, supermarkets, walmarts & so on for way over a couple of decades that I don't see myself now to start vaping it up because maybe there is no law against it. I'll stick with my routine & just vape up where smoking is allowed.
