I am not sure why you seem so angry or why you didn't get my analogy. If he goes to a Dr., any Dr. and says that something bad happens when he vapes and only when he vapes the Dr. is going to tell him to stop vaping and move on to the next patient. No Dr. is going to try to making vaping more enjoyable for someone.

Now if he is wheezing even when not vaping, that is a completely different story.

I am not angry although I am annoyed that you feel I need you to correct or disagree with my opinion which I offered to the OP. I am not interested in debating anything with you but you tell the OP to go to an ENT when I suggested a Pulmonary Specialist due to the symptoms they listed. You have your opinion and I have mine and I do not have any reason to debate anything. My interest was in trying to help the OP.

Thank you all for your responses. I'm sorry about the delay in response I don't make a whole lot of time for e-socializing. But I do appreciate your concerns and comments.
So Stolls001 - I also was dual sourced on my habit. I would smoke at work because it's so much simpler, no hassle with filling, charging etc. I think this is the major problem. It seems that when I smoke then return to vaping it is hard to make the transition. The more times I went back and forth the harder it got until I quit vaping for a time. But eventually my lungs got so full of crap that I could do almost no physical exertion without gasping for air. So I tried to go back to vaping.
Smacuser - Yes I constantly change gear. I haven't had much luck on the gear side. I've gone through so many setups I can't remember how many let alone which ones. They always seem perfect for about a month then collapse. Currently I'm using an Hcigar VT200 with a vapor fi edge Tank. Which I will soon have to replace as the coils for the tank are no longer made. I think it is also part of the problem. It takes a little relearning to use one of these properly.
Boogenshizle and scottp - I'v used primarily My own interpretation of RY4 at 80% PG. I have tried the experiment of using PG with no flavor or nic. It was harsh but not that bad. I think I will raise the VG %.
Also I recal that I cut the VG to thin it. Normally I use white vinegar but on the last batch I had a brain fart and used PGA. I think this is one of the biggest factors I don't know what I was thinking at the time. I've thrown it out and have order new so can't continue experimenting till it comes in.
Coastal cowboy - I appreciate your concern, but stopping is not an option as continuing to smoke cigs will be the end of me.
I agree with steve545 - No doctors. I've had too many relatives waste the last months of their lives locked up in a hospital while doctors make a fortune running pointless tests. If I do have a medical issue I would rather it take me by surprise while I enjoy what time I have left without interference
So, ultimately, I continued to vape and hack and wheeze until my system eventually accepted it. It is only slightly harsh at this time and after getting the new supplies I think It will once again become enjoyable.
Thank you all again for all the directions to pursue.

I agree with steve545 - No doctors.

I never said NO Doctors
someone misinterpreted my statement which was to go see a Pulmonary Specialist for Breathing issues. My soon to be 90 year old Father ignored his breathing issues and his Lung Collapsed but thanks to proper care for Bronchiolitis obliterans (BO) he is now not using Oxygen 24 hours day.

If the straight PG was harsh but the VG wasn't then yeah diluted VG is the way to go. However, I have never heard of vaping vinegar. VG is normally thinned with distilled water. I think I heard a few people using vodka, but not vinegar.
