"What is that! A {TOY} or something?"

"That thing looks ridiculous! I couldn't walk around with that in public!"

"You smokin {SOMETHING BAD}!"

We've all heard these comments... I always have my Provari on me and never think twice about using it in front of strangers.

Do you?

I don't think twice about using it in front of strangers. Most of the time when I get people that do ask about it they usually ask if I'm smoking {SOMETHING BAD}, lol. To which I respond, "Nope. Nicotine." It is at this point that all interest fades. Aaaahhhhhh, California

Yes, I always use your provari in front of strangers. :D

I wear a branded polo shirt with my company logo on it - so I was always careful about where I smoked (I wouldn't want to lose a customer because they saw me smoking no matter how small minded that might be) and I am just as careful now I vape whenever I am working.

When I am on my own time, or out and about, I vape openly and respectfully where-ever I am. It's almost always a conversation starter and I never tire of educating other smokers about the benefits.

No. I'm fortunate enough to live in a small city that has TWO B&M stores with another one in a town 30 mins away, so most people in this area are familiar with them.

If people ask me questions, it's more like, "hey what are you vaping? Where do you get your eliquid? Where did you get that tank? I get mine from (name here), but they're really expensive."

With Volcano located in Honolulu and their many TV ads, most folk are familiar with the concept so I don't get too many rude remarks. I do vape wherever it's OK to do so, to encourage more vapors to do likewise. I think it's also a good way to familiarize non smoking folk with these and takes the fear out of them, plus it lends credibility if enough folk are seen using them in public. If anyone does ask what "that" is, I tell them it's my quit stick and they seem OK with that.

I vape my mods openly and proudly. I am careful to respect the owner of any private property's wishes before doing so, but once I have the green light, out comes the ProVari (or whatever mod I have). Now if I am outside or whatever, I just vape away.

Had an interesting conversation with rent-a-cop yesterday at Short Pump Mall (outdoor mall) and said "you can't smoke that in here." I replied that I am not smoking at all. And he tells me something like, "I know you people say that is safe, but we don't allow smoking of any kind here". He then tells me he confiscated one the other day. Well now he has my full attention with the "you people" crack, and veiled threats of confiscation. I said, "well I am sure the person who let you take it had their reasons. You are not touching my property under any circumstances." Now after you deliver a line like that, you have to stare right into their eyes for a few seconds, so I did just that. I then told him that the State's Attorney General has already ruled that vaping is NOT smoking and smoking bans do not apply to it, since the definition of smoking in Virginia refers to combustion.

He says he is not sure if that is true, but that I better put that away. I tell him he better go talk to his supervisor and get his facts together. I put it away temporarily until the security stooge was gone. It was easier to move on than fix that guy. I hope he will remember that experience before taking someone's PV next time.

e-cigs allowed me to quit smoking after 50+ years of up to 2+ PAD... As far as I'm concerned someone else's opinion of how I may look using one in public is none of my concern... I'd dress up in a clown suit and vape merrily away in the town square if that's what was needed to continue vaping rather than smoking!!

A lot of people at work know I've quit smoking but only a handful only actually seen my PV devices. I don't to the smoking area to vape during break time but rather go to my car. Feels really awkward doing it in front of people who smoke analogs and I don't want to keep getting constant questions about it. While I'm driving, I caught a few stares but I don't care.
