Vaping looks ridiculous!

My wife and I both just started vaping. She doesn't mind doing it at home, work, or the car, but anywhere in public she's a little shy. I've taken a puff here and there in the mall, but haven't waived my vaping flag yet. I'd like to, although a bit nervous myself, but don't want the wife crawling under the tables.

I'm new to vaping, but love gadgets... anything tech. So of course less than two weeks into vaping I bought a Tesla I love it. I show it off to strangers. I've let the barista at Starbucks try it (she's a vaper, as well). I let the cashier at the gas station try since she vapes and was looking to upgrade. I do get a bit shy vaping on the road. I wonder what people are seeing if they look in my window. But I remind myself that vaping on a Tesla, or any vaping mod, is a lot better than having major coughing fits from cigarette smoking like I used to have.

BTW, those horrible hacking coughing fits that I've had for the last 2 yrs or so are completely gone. I'm thrilled!

I broke my usual rule recently while on an extended shopping trip. I went to the smoking area of Walmart to vape and just used the Njoy King I carry all the time because I was short on time and it packed 45mgs. I tried not to look at anyone but did see the guy across the picnic table looking out the corner of my eye. It did cross my mind: "Wonder what he or the women would think if I pulled a bazooka out of my purse or a box that looked like a detonator." I walked away thinking that maybe I had just gotten one person interested in vaping. I mean that little Njoy puts out plumes.

Edit: forgot something that might be critical to explain my thinking. I still smoke a few a day and, at first, I pulled out a smoke... took 3 or 4 drags... put it out and took out my Njoy. There was just no comparison with the tiny smoke exhale and the vapor plume from the Njoy. I'm thinking that's a real good comparison for smokers to see between two things that look pretty much the same.

I vape with respect, but vape proudly. Many of us are in our 40's, 50's, 60's and older, just regular chaps and chapettes. If we're stealthing in places one can actually vape, it makes it look more furtive than it is. Just a thought.....

I vape quite a bit with my provari and gen atom. I prefer not to vape in front of children, least not blow the vape to them nor to anyone really. I have gotten so many different kinds of comments from strangers but so far, most if not all are positive. My faves are: "Ohhh my!!! That's the biggest thing I've ever seen.." or "That's hugeee!" Such as setup, esp in bars. So I reply, "That's what she said...".

This statement is definitely for the 50 plus crowd who grew up in the sixties.
But ever since I got my itaste svd.
You know what pops to mind while carrying it and using it.
I know most remember H.R. Puffnstuff lol that magic

I will vape proud and anywhere I want because I am doing nothing illegal.
That being said, I do not blow big clouds at others, nor do I really like my big tube mods in public...
Too conspicuous, and not into the hassle of 'explaining' them to every Joe and Jane, or cop.
Walking around the state beach where I work my summer job last weekend...
I was Vaping my vMod, which looks like a pocket scanning radio,
Or some kind of old school cell phone.
No one even gave me a second look.

I look at smokers now and think how ridiculous that looks...

Maybe it's just me or I need to double up my Vamo I smoke everywhere outside, with courtesy mind u. But no one even seems to notice never the less say anything to me go figure.
