OK, as suggested by the title of this diatribe, I'm wondering why so many folks complain about minor symptoms that come up when they start vaping. Keep in mind, I'm not trying to be offensive or judgemental in any way. Serious issues should be dealt with!! This is meant to be mildly humorous! (it's all I'm capable of...) Serious people need not read!!

I guess what I am saying is that I've noticed folks blaming everything from increased/decreased urination to having bad breath on their decision to take up vaping. Perhaps some of us new vapers need to step back and look at the SERIOUS health risks we were subjecting our bodies to when we smoked analogs!! Seriously!! We light something on fire that contains the equivalent of jet fuel chemically speaking, and then inhale that junk into our lungs. Hey, according to the FDA, that's preferrable to vaping because, after all, vaping might dehydrate you!!

I've only been here a short time, and already I have seen a great number of "concerned citizens" trying to scare us back into smoking analogs by declaring PG/VG unsafe, or stating that their vape turned into a milky white substance on thier walls, etc. Truth be told, the cat upchucked it's daily ration of milk!:2cool: But it's GOT to have something to do with vaping!!

We have all heard over and over again to drink lots of water when we vape as we can dehydrate somewhat, but compared to the immediate symptoms of burning stink sticks (odor, yellow teeth, yellow walls, yellow LUNGS) I just do not see the big wahoo about things like "vaping makes me dream strange dreams at night, or vaping makes me dream strange dreams at WORK", etc.

Why is it that when we cease smoking something with 5,435,987,319,567,456 KNOWN carcingogens, and take up vaping that we blame everyhting that happens to us on the vaping? "No dear, I didn't shoot the neighbor's dog, it was my PV. You know those Joye Ego's have a mind of thier own!" "My night sweats have nothing to do with withdrawals, it must be that new DIY mix that you came up with...you know the one with the 54% solution of caffeine in it that you 'accidentally' mixed rather than the nicotine?"

Ya' know, when we sit back and think about it though, those stink sticks and all the combinations of chemicals in them have GOT to have something to do with it!! We can't just sit back and let them get off scott free!! They deserve retribution!! They deserve to be punished!! Let's place the blame where it belongs! Stink sticks SUCK!!

OK, now...once again this is not meant to cause folks to cease posting about possible health concerns having to do with vaping. I'm just bored at work and I think MarkFM put something "funny" in the DIY juice he sent me...:p

PS, MarkFM...awesome job on the juices man!! I love 'em!!:2cool:

Ha, I was one of those that contributed symptoms to vaping when I first started. I'm sure everyone does at one point in time, at the very least, think about it :)

The biggest reason being would be the lack of definitive research on vaping as a whole at this point in time. There are studies on inhaling pg/vg and there are studies on inhaling nicotine. But, how many studies are present of inhaling food flavorings? Or the whole shebang in a mix :) Not very many. Heck, do we even know how much nicotine is actually absorbed while we vape? Sure, we know it's significantly less than smoking cigarettes, but, I don't think there is any argument that vaping is just a helluva lot safer than smoking, period.

Smokers have a choice - start inhaling a product that is still relatively new that hasn't had any serious repercussions health-wise on anyone since it's release (known), or smoke something that has been 100% proven to cause absolute harm to your body. Well gee, I guess I better climb to the top of the himalayas and meditate on this for a few weeks

It's the same reason why almost every drug on the market's side effects include nausea and headache. The are common non specific symptoms that people have a regular basis and is noticed (and attributed to) a new thing in their life.

A lot of symptoms can be attributed to cigarette withdraw, or the process the body goes through after cigarette cessation.

I ignore them for the most part except for the occasional face palm

I am of the firm belief that the record heat waves plaguing the United States right now is a direct result of all the humectants we are all puffing into the air. How is it supposed to rain if we keep blowing drying agents all over the place?

We, vapers, have succeeding in being the sole reason for Global Warming.

Who cares about Global Warming, lets skip the minor issues...I think we are missing the big picture as described in the title of the thread. Vaping is turning people into zombies at night so we vapers are the sole cause of the upcoming zombie apocalypse!!!

Yes! We have more stuff to worry about than the Dihydrogen Monoxide scare and global warming. Didn't Al Gore invent both of those as well as the internet?

I'm sorry but some of these symptoms are serious, I mean my fingers seem to have a pinkish hue to them instead of their usual slightly yellow tinge, I am not coughing up anything in the morning anymore-how the hell am I meant to clean my lungs now! These are serious issues and I am scared for my health :)

That's not humorous at all. I'n having serious carpet glue withdraw symptoms and you're making fun of the yellow fingers. This is BS!

Speaking of finger issues, I've found a numbness in my right index finger since vaping....I can't figure it out I just keep clicking all the information in here looking for an answer....let the clicking continue until I find the answer...(for lefties substitute appropriate finger)
