vaping more then a hobby

I started vaping a year ago,after a motnh i was looking for stuff to make your own juice
and learned the hard way that it was not that easy to get a god juice i would like so i stopped after a few months
then i started recoiling
That i liked still doing it
last few month i started modding i like that even more but sometimes it works sometimes not
But when i look back i think it has not been cheaper then smoking ,but it was at least more fun then smoking,
after buying al kind of mods tanks and trying more then a 100 types of liquids most really horrible

the last 3 months i have found my fav liquid english bulldog
i still people ask why you do that because then i have to recoil or clean it enc
those people dont get it ITS FUN

I'm with you....over the last year, I haven't saved a dime....but I haven't smoked a single cigarette. Its the first time in 32 years of smoking that I've been able to say that. I've tried all of big pharmas options too....all crap.
I make my own juice. After many failed attempts, I've hit on a wonderful vanilla custard recipe that serves as my all day vape. I haven't had to purchase juice from a vendor in 5 months. Don't give up on diy. Its nice to know that whatever happens, I can continue down this path. If you enjoy custard type flavors, Capella is your friend.

when attempting DIY expect mess-ups and the loss of the juice you made.... a method I use is to make the juice with no nic ( a small sample size) to test for taste, if it works out well, then I remake it with the nic base... so if there is a mess-up, no nic was harmed in the process...

Vaping certainly lends itself to the hobbyist. With cigarettes you had a choice of regular or menthol. Yes, you could grow your own tobacco or roll your own, but that wasn't much of a hobby was it?

Man you said it!! I guess I've replaced my smoking habit with a new hobby. I've been vaping now for almost 11 months. I think I had spent $400 a month on smokes (used to live in NYC $13 a pack!!!) Moved to FL where the price was less than half. Took up vaping and I think I'm past $400 a month. But who cares. I'm not smoking and I feel great!!!!!

The important thing is that its healthier and better for you than ciggies. Its just an added bonus that its so fun and can become such a hobby. Between all the mods, juices, atomizers, styles, rebuilding and everything else involved it can really get your mind off the reason we started this "hobby" which is getting off cigs in the first place.

to ecf dgrill. A think a better word for me would be "obsession" rather than hobby. I was passionate about smoking so naturally........vaping is important to me. It didn't take me long to get into mixing and building either. Thank goodness for ecf. Enjoy and happy vaping to you.
