Vaping My REO Grand

Just got everything i needed in the mail today. The ultrafire batteries showed green on the charger right away. So, I popped one in, twisted a bauway 306 on, filled her up with banana chocolate and let 'r rip. Pretty awesome I must say. Initial impression? LOVE IT. I smeared a little noalax on the positive button, hope thats right.

One thing though, the lock-out doesn't work. Is it because I bought button top and wasnt supposed to?

Lock-out you mean the locking mechanism for the button. Mine was a little stiff at first, but it loosened up after some usage. Glad your enjoying the REO. Feel free to stop by the big thread or even post pictures in the REO family thread on here.

No it's not stiff, it just doesn't cut the power. It turns into position with ease, but if I gently push down on the button, it fires the atty. Also, it seems I was getting better flavor with my riva. Is it because the 306 is brand new? I'm thinking it just needs to get broken in.

As long as it's not firing on the lock position I wouldn't really worry about it. I would even consider the ease of firing it on the unlocked position a good thing. Must be the new firing pin thats making it much easier to fire As for your atty I think the "newnwess" is the case. Once you break it in it should be fine. Drop a few on the bridge to prime it if you can initially and then juice feed the rest of the way

Can you see a little metal pin sticking out from the side of the button when looking at the top of the button?

Your Reo is obviously defective and a lost cause. I'll PM you my address so you can send it to me and be done with it.


New attys need to be "seasoned." It won't take much. Keep at it. You'll be in flavor Heaven in no time.

That tiny little pin sticking on the side of your firing button is made to twist with
the button itself. Try turning it left to right and vice versa
when the front of the Reo is facing you. Mine locks and unlocks when I do it.
Mine does not fire when it is in the locked position.
The button won't push down when it's in a locked position.

Ok, last time. Even in the locked position, she fires. Locked, unlocked, twisted left, right, doesn't matter. She fires just the same. On the plus side, the atty is much better now and SHE PLUMES.

Did you look for the little pin on the button?

Yeah there is a pin. I don't know. Maybe I will pm rob.

I'm looking at mine right now and if the pin is there and the button turns then there is no way that the button will fire in the locked position. The only other possibility is that the ledge in the little cut out around the button that blocks the pin when it is not pointed directly at the atomizer is missing.
You definitely need to contact Rob, I have emailed him at reo@reosmods.com before and he always responds promptly.

I dont use my lock ...I would prefer a button without a lock and a on off switch somewhere else on the mod...sometimes mine turns to lock pos...when I wasnt trying to lock it. But I still love my Reos and I think they are the best mod out there.
