I like around 65VG/35PG (more PG bothers my throat... not a big deal but I also love the natural sweetness of VG) Pre-made juices are too strong flavor and too sweet... I even found my DIY juices were better after diluting with some unflavored. Tried distilled water once (long story... didn't have plain PG, only PG with nic but needed to thin some juice) I know I barely used less than 5 % and it did seem "steamy" and weak to me. I would suggest you simply limit the PG to 30% and just use a small amount of flavor(s) A little goes a long way (right now my tanks need new coils so I added unflavored to get some more life from the coil and it's amazing that there is still enough flavor) You might try a search here on ECF... there was a thread "uses for unflavored e-juice"... very good discussion.
