I started out using a KR808D-1 auto battery, and have recently switched to a manual. I heard good things about manuals, but I'm not really sure I'm into it just yet. Curious to know how exactly to get the best vape from the manual? Do I press the button as soon as I want to vape like on the auto? Or do I press it ahead of time and wait a few seconds? I seem to just hold the button while I vape, but also heard that some release and then press again. Just not sure what the best method is on it for making me a manual believer. Thanks!

I usually press the button for about a second before inhaling as I'm bringing it to my mouth. It definitely helps to warm up the atty a little bit before you take a drag. The main reason to release and then press again is that most, if not all, KR808s have a cutoff at around 8 seconds. If you want a longer drag than that, you need to break it into multiple drags. Personally, 8 seconds is usually enough for me.

With a manual, you can pop off the cart and look into the atty as you press the button. You'll see that with no draw, a pool of vapor forms in the well of the atty within the first couple seconds. So by pressing the button a second or two before you start to drag, your getting solid vapor from start to finish... as opposed to an auto, where the first couple seconds of your drag are just getting the atty fired up. Hope that makes sense, lol.

I started out with the auto batteries, but am finding that I like the manuals much better. With the autos I found I had to take a short "primer puff" to warm up the carto before taking a full puff. With the manuals I hit the button as I bring it to my lips and that 1 second or so gets things warmed up enough that I don't need to do primer puffs.
