Vaping on a punched carto

The last time I went to switch cartos, I put a piece of tape around the holes and vaped it for a little while. I'm not doing it because the carto is ready to be swiched, I just don't have a huge collection of tanks yet and it was time to switch flavors. Today I was vaping it with my fingers over the holes and I forgot and vaped it without covering the holes. Vapor was the same but airflow and flavor was boosted. I would have thought I wouldn't have been able to vape these but it actually it very good. It's a very easy draw and lots of flavor. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Also wondering if anyone has refilled a punched carto and then vaped it again out of a tank.

I guess you get much more air out of the open air tube than you do through the side hole where air has to pass through saturated filler material. It makes sense.

Yep. That works. Did it before. Instead of air coming in through the tiny holes in the connector, now you have a larger entrance for airflow. Enjoy.

Must be what 901s did right when it comes to flavor. A little extra air flowing through does really well. Not sure about the refill though. Tape it up maybe and vape it for awhile first so it doesn't leak?

I wondered about leakage, too.

Thats what Im doing now the puched carto that came with a tank and I bought some extras. but the tank leaks. So I just took the tank off and just using the carto on the PT. seams to work But it will leak if it gets hot.
The tank I got from MV. floods real easy and leaks.. I guess just a cheap tank..

If its' your carto that floods, it's typically an air pressure issue. I'm finding this out myself. Looking into modding mine with carb holes.

I'm vaping a freshly punched carto right now. Pretty good. I'm hoping this may work to pre-prime the cartomizer.
