i have watched every episode of RHOBH and never seen any vaping, so i clicked the link, watched that video and didnt catch it there either....where do you see it?

It was in this clip. I don't know how you missed it, even Kim Richards (Which Mountain ya know) commented on her puffing away. I'ts going to be tomorrow nights episode. I think.

I like reality TV... I watch Billy the Exterminator, Swamp People, American Pickers... you know... man stuff. :)

Killing bugs, catchin' gators and diggin through antiques... wait, what?

same here, although American Chopper has become more like "Housewives" this season. Wish they'd (Sr. mostly) would just get a life and stop feeding his own ego.
My other favs are Deadliest Catch (of course), Dirty Jobs, Ax Men and Swamp Loggers. Good stuff!

lol you're right, none of it is very cerebral at all - more like a train wreck, you just can't look away once you start watching.
Boogers?? Flipping boogers?? How is that cerebral? :) hehe
In all seriousness, it was a joke (women=reality tv, men=sci-fi)..hope I didn't offend anyone too much. But ya'll have to admit, the market for reality tv is zoned in on women, and sci-fi for men. That's all I meant - just generalized it.
No offense taken, nor intended. I just enjoy women who can carry on a civilized conversation. And, if they have at least a basic science background and some intellectual curiosity ... now we're talking! :) Geek girls are the best!

I think the boogers comment had more to do with my consumption of diphenhydramine than anything my lady friends would do, at least in a literal sense, LOL

Note to self: go to bed after taking that stuff!

I looooove Deadliest Catch and have been glued to all seasons, esp. the last one. RIP Captain Phil.
I've not seen Ax Men and used to watch American Chopper just to see what they came up with - impressive bikes!!!
757 - I agree with you on the Discovery and NatGeo programs - pretty cool stuff!

OMG That whole season dealing with Captain Phil..I can't watch it over again. I cried. I just became so hooked on the show and the mens lives. People always have asked me how could I be interested in those types of shows. I just think it takes one heck of a person to do a job like that and the things they go through, it simply amazes me. I like the show auction kings as well. I might have to look into those storage auctions after watching that.

It will be on tonight for sure because I saw advertisements for it last night when top chef was on. On the clip they show her vaping a couple of times maybe more on actual show. We'll see.

Hi All, I saw the episode last night as well, I was glad to see a vaper on tv , and in Malibu at that.
The only problem I had with it was that Allison Dubois looked like she was possessed and it made her ecig look like an evil appendage in her hand. I don't think she helped the cause, actually she probably turned people off because she made it look so tacky by blowing her big clouds of vapor on everyone.
Smoking and vaping do carry a negative stigma, I wish this weren't true of vaping but people like Dubois do not help the cause.
Just my opinion.

I watched it. Silly show but it is good for total brain shutdown, I watch it when I am folding laundry and such. I thought Allison DuBois was really gross. Mixing up a gift with insults and petty girl fights is gross, like a preacher using his position to put people down, ick.

I am not sure I will enjoy Medium as much anymore (a show I really like)...and though I love the idea of ecigs being mainstreamed, I am not sure she is a good ambassador.

LOL What a witch! If anyone saw "Watch What Happens Live" right after, Andy Cohen had an Ecig in his hand for first 15 minutes of his show mocking her. He said the only thing missing was her stroking a cat in her lap and plotting to blow up the world. LOL What a character

I agree this is NOT a good first introduction for people with Ecigs. She was using it like a prop. If people had just caught glimpses of her vaping outside when they were on the patio it would have looked a lot better IMO. Instead it got too wrapped up in her nutty personality.

I also found it interesting how she held it....I found myself wrapping my hand around it too as it's heavier but would always try to hold autos like an analog when I could in public. Now I know how it looks.

I agree that Allison Dubois being associated with e-cigs did not help our cause. In addition to reacting negatively to her as a person, other people on the show reacted to her use of the e-cig with disgust. I cringed while watching it, thinking this can't be good for the reputation of e-cigs to have it used by such an evil-seeming person.

Agreed, I'd rather not have that publicity! I will say though that it was pretty cool that the hostess allowed her to vape in her home. That should at least raise curiousity.

Just saw a commercial for smokers assist on the outdoor channel though. (hubbys fav channel) it's cool to see that they can be advertised on tv!

On the RHBH website under Taylors blog I made a comment & I have never done that. They haven't posted it yet though but she mentions them in her blog so I tried to explain a little about how they work hoping to maybe knock out some of the negativity that that crazy medium caused. I also saw Andy Cohen & while I think Allison didn't help am not sure of Andy maybe it will get peoples interest up. I also caught the tail end of a story on the national news this am (Fox I think) & it was a dr. putting them down & some other guy in favor of them & both talking about the rising sales over the internet so add that to Johnny depp & they are getting much more exposure then in the past. I have a feeling it will just keep growing & growing from here on out. I hope it's a good thing & doesn't screw it up. I will be furious if all this publicity somehow messes with the online stores or local stores for that matter. Oh by the way went to Murphy's USA in front of Walmart today & they have discontinued selling ANY e cig. They used to sell Gamucci or Ganucci or whatever they were called. Uhm?
