Vaping rituals?

lets see... every morning i ensure that i am ready for the day, ego v v2 mega (ensure its off), mini pt 2, 2 bottles of liquid, pt2 skirt in an ego case... svd with pt2, check both 18650s, place 1 in svd, check ohms, ensure svd is off, place both in my right cargo pocket, place spare 18650 in battery case and place in (calf) pocket (the one right above my boot)... and ensure i have a lighter in the front right pocket... not sure if the army has banned vaping indoors yet, but id rather be safe than sorry and go out to the "smoke pits" and having a lighter is a great conversation starter if i dont know someone, in regards to e-cigs...

im interested in what rituals i will develop in a month or so once i am back in the civilian world...

when diy, i set up my tanks to have a nice general flavor, run the calculations, mix flavors first, then pg/vg, do that for each bottle, then add nic... shut... crudely label, shake, put in a nice hot water bath, shake, and taste...

i am sure there are more... but i dont pay much attention to it... though i either blow a little steam out in a nice stream when exhaling, or a nice big cloud

wonder if i do anything else....

i was rubbing my drip tip on my lower lip wile reading this. I also put my K9 tooth in the drip tip a lot. I also put my tong in front of the drip tip while vaping to get the extra flavor.

They're pretty good - I'm a fan. If you're going for the old style, watch the pbusardo video though, as they do have a safety issue (it's relatively easy to fix, as long as you're happy fixing stuff). I don't know if the new style is different.

Ahhhh, there's always something lol. I'm not too great at fixing things unless I know more about exactly how things work. I guess I should do some homework. Thanks for the heads up though!

I lick my fingers after filling a tank -- also sometimes bite the tip -- more so with my pipe. I also fill my tanks before I go to bed and unplug my battery charger!

I never really noticed some of my ritual until I read this post and paid attention to what I did.
Every few puffs, I take a few primer pulls to make sure the carto in my carto-tank is saturated.
I do the same thing after I top off the tank.
My pinky is usually on the bottom the battery when I used my lighter weight batteries, like my iTaste VV.
If my pinky can't reach the bottom of the battery, it's pointed out.

Nothing too strange, but I'm sure I haven't noticed everything either.

Hmmm...now that you mention it, my pinky is usually under my batt also. It just feels right there lol.

I have a feeling after reading this thread a lot of people will realize vaping habits/rituals they didn't know they had.

Good evening... interesting thread to say least... ;-). I am also guilty of licking my fingers after filling a tank and biting the drip tips... and I just (literally) realize that my pinky rests on the bottom of my PVs as I vape away like a locomotive...

not really... lol i have most of it in the ego case right now... my svd is set up... the extra battery is still in the case in the pocket... tonight when i take it all out it goes in one spot... tomorrow it will take less than 5 minutes to put it all back...

and as far as some of the naughty... well this has caused a few things to run rampant in my mind as well... curses to my mind being in the gutter... lol... then again its their most of the time...

A friend of mine who still smokes analogs always takes out the filter, tears about a quarter of it off, and puts that bit back in the empty .....
I love clenching an automatic mod in my teeth (one that's light enough and small enough to do that comfortably) and vaping it as if it were a big cigar, since I smoked a lot of cigars before I quit. I have an iTaste VTR, and the tank that comes with it (iClear 30s) has a rotatable drip tip, so sometimes I play with that.

Yeah, I have been doing the tongue thing since I read that post. I hope I don't get vapers tongue again lol. It really does enhance the flavor!

I love clenching an automatic mod in my teeth (one that's light enough and small enough to do that comfortably) and vaping it as if it were a big cigar, since I smoked a lot of cigars before I quit. I have an iTaste VTR, and the tank that comes with it (iClear 30s) has a rotatable drip tip, so sometimes I play with that.

I used to do that if i had lights. And carnival hundreds. End up with the burnt filter taste allot easier but makes the ....ty stogey more tolerable lol.

I really love this thread. This if fun to think about. I don't know if it could call it a ritual, but I love having my coffee vape in the morning with my coffee. I always have that even before breakfast. I also vape while putting on make up which I didn't do before because smoking inside was too gross even for me. I didn't want my house to smell like that and the walls to yellow. When I first started vaping, I didn't want to vape in any of the places I couldn't smoke because eventually I wanted to quit vaping too. I have to say though...I like vaping as a hobby. I may work my way down to 0 nic and just vape that. My husband and I decided that vaping while watching tv wasn't a good idea either because we would miss out little breaks to talk. I used to go outside to smoke, but now we go to the guest room and vape on my vaping couch. Sometimes that leads to cuddling sessions which is delightful! We go in there and now he has a little pipe vape too. The conversations had there are very good for my marriage. The other thing I am excited about is vaping in the bathtub!!! I couldn't smoke in the tub because again yellowing and stinking but now my bathroom smells of peach, grape, coffee, mint or various other things and how relaxing is that. That is a new habit I couldn't have while smoking!!!
