I’m not to this whole world and last night I vaped from my pen and ever since I’ve had a lasting headache and a bit of dizziness. How long should these symptoms last and are they normal? I’m also a bit of an overreactor so I wanna make sure this is nothing serious enough to see a doctor over. Also the juice I used is advertised as “nicotine free“ and I could just be having an allergic reaction to PG

The first question I have is WHY are you vaping? To assist in quitting smoking or for recreational purposes?

How old are you?

Are you certain the e-liquid you are using is "nicotine free"? The labeling on the bottle should say "0 nicotine".

Reactions to Pg vary from individual to individual. Hypersensitivity or allergy could present symptoms of itching, swelling, hives, redness.

Just for recreational purposes never been a smoker! The label on the liquid was distorted and some of the liquid spilled out in transit so I can’t quite read out the words but the seller described all their liquids as nicotine free and they refuse to sell any with nicotine. So what do you believe to be the cause of my symptoms if not PG? Perhaps the juice does have nicotine instead? As I got no hives or itching of any sort

Side effects (when switching from smoking) may include:
  • Easier breathing
  • Increased ability to taste and smell
  • You will smell better
  • More energy
  • Reduced cancer risk
  • Better over all health
  • More money in your wallet.
Side effects (when NOT switching from smoking) may include:
  • Possibly increased cancer risk (unknown for sure)
  • Same over all health
  • LESS money in your wallet.

Hi and welcome,
Perhaps you are sensitive to the flavouring agents used.
If you are concerned, see your doctor.

Cheers
I
ETA: did you buy from a vape store or vaping web shop or via Ebay/amazon etc?
Yeah I just think I’m sensitive to whatever is in the actual liquid. And I got this particular juice from a seller on eBay lesson learned

The only thing that is meant to go in lungs is fresh clean air. Unless you are using vaping as harm reducing alternative to smoking I would suggest you don't.

As for side-effects, vaping did give this guy dry knuckles.

Maybe you just gave yourself mild hypoxia and that state is persisting because you are focusing on it.

I know that statement sounds scientific but BELIEVE me when I say it is a totally wild guess. Go see your doc, and they will tell you that as a non smoker, your experiments should either end, or be a bit on the wilder side, like a new sexual position or maybe even a raw foods diet.

I don't quite get how vaping is fascinating to some people, but if it's giving you bad side effects don't do it. Also, about OH A JILLION BILLION better venders besides ebay are around most if non all consisting of a nicotine free option.

Just as I would not buy organic beef off ebay to consume, nor would I buy eliquid there. Etc. There is also that.
