Ok so after 38 years of smoking, I have finally quit. It's only been 5 days but vaping has kept me off the cigarettes. My only problem is that I vape so much that today I tried to turn on my IPad by clicking 5 times! I thought to myself what an idiot but I had to laugh. I love my vape.

Vaping too much is better than smoking too much! So what if you try and pick up random objects and try to vape them!

When it seemed like that was going to be the case for me, I just cut my nic way back. Well, after I was confident the smoking was done-for.

Almost the same set-up and amount of liquid consumed daily to this day, coming up on 5yrs vaping after 35yrs w/cigs.

    Congratulations!

17 days for me. :) I try hard (not always successfully) to use my e-cigarette in the same way as I'd use a cigarette. Which means that I'll stop what I'm doing, vape for 5-10 minutes, and then put it down until I feel the urge again. Otherwise I find I'm using it constantly, which I don't really want to do.

I'm sure there's an app for that :)

Some advice: don't worry about how much you vape until you are well quit. Cutting down your vaping and then relapsing because of that is the worst thing that could happen. As long as you are not getting a bad reaction from your vaping, the only thing bad about vaping is the politics.

Pressing 5 times to turn on really could end up becoming an industrial standard in consumer electronics! or maybe just on lithium battery powered consumer electronics.

I go though a 30ml bottle a day on average. I live in a cloud. But I vape 3. With as much as I vape, and as big of hits as I take, anything more gets me light headed.

Edit: I am using an RX200 with a Sapor((when I get the money I am gonna get that purple Buddha! Yes plz!! It is so sexy on this mod. And hits like a boss on it. My friend has one.)) And I run it at 120 most of the time. Every now and then I will run at 140. And when I want to see how big of a cloud I can get I will do 200. But that is like 1 time every few days((3 or 4 hits in that 1 time))

I choose vaping over smoking because I find it better. Am I vaping too much? I do not know to be honest. Yet, I vape consistently through out the day and the further I navigate away from smoking, the more I'm considering strategies to manage my vape in a reasonable way. I want to vape because I want to not because I need to... It seems easier to forget my vape than it was to smoke... Still a work in progress, but since you ask the question I will start to dedicate specific time for vaping and see how it goes. The goal been to gain freedom over addictive behaviors. I never turn off my mod so the 5 push is not a reflex so far, but it's quit a funny one on your tablet... The other day, I tried to vape on my iphone while driving though... That was weird...
