From an early e-cig a friend gave me with the glowing tip a few years back, to Egos, to iStick, smok and Kanger with all the Aspire tanks, ending up with various Provari and Kubuki tanks. Stocking up on a couple of RDA's, atomizers and nicotine. I'm 62, so I don't have to plan too far ahead. We shall see how it all plays out. Marlboro will not get another dime.

I've found the evolution interesting as well. I only got in 3 years ago but since then we saw the release of things like the Protank, the rise and fall of the Genesis tanks, the rise and fall of mech mods and in the past year or so the rise and dominance of sub ohm atties with replaceable wicks/coils and variable high watt devices to take advantage of them. Most interesting to is that there has been a shift from small modders to company driven production. When I started, company products were weak and modders dominated. Now the opposite is true and it's for the better for every new vaper. Just as the industry is reaching it's stride, the FDA is mucking it up.

I just started vaping 11 months ago with an eGrip V1. Saw from the beginning that rebuilding and DIY were the way to go for me. Funny thing is that after the eGrip I kinda went backward and found my happy place with the ego/Evod vv batts and ProTanks and a couple RTAs. Have 7-8 egos and maybe 10 ProTanks and a mini istick as well as 5 low power replaceable battery VV/VW Mods. 3 of them telescopic so I can use whatever size battery I can get my hands on in the future.
While the disposable Evod/egos and Isticks will always be my preference I am prepared for whatever comes of this Deeming garbage.

The rush and glory when the Nemesis and Chi You first came out was exciting!! Using Egos and cartos was okay for what they were, but the new experience of an actual mod was unprecedented! I'm fully aware that in some places, there were a few mods out before the Nemmy and Chi, but in my little town, there were little/no options until one small store opened. Finding a B&M in a big city was near impossible and how many Egos or Spinners did someone really need?? (I had two of each :) ) I had a Nemmy immediately and actually won a Chi You in a poker game. Then came the clones...actually, the flood of clones. Within a year, the vaping world exploded with new gear. New shops opened everywhere. The internet was awash with impressive tools to help a person quit smoking. Again, it was a glorious revolution of sorts against cigarettes and big tobacco. Now, the FDA has taken it upon themselves to redefine what a "cigarette" is and voted for ludicrous regulations. Terribly sad for current and future smokers that there may not be the option of something far less dangerous that fills the needs.

I love the size of ego batts, I use an itaste vv ego sized batt every day! Bad part is you can't change the inside batt but I love the size
