I love vaping in the car! Used to chain smoke while driving and now I've replaced it. I think vaping is much safer. Need to use both hands suddenly? Drop the PV into your lap or toss it onto the passenger's seat. No worries about burning something.

Recently I noticed a weird burning smell when I was in the car. I instantly looked around to see if I had dropped hot ashes somewhere in the car. It was nice when I realized that I didn't have anything burning even though I was happily "smoking"! Old habits die hard I guess. :)

I too like many, smoked more when I drove, I used to smoke a lot more behind the wheel than anywhere else. I think because I kept it a secret from my parents, I felt it was a safe haven to smoke in, and more comfortable than standing out the back as at home... Hated the smell of cigs in the car, and I love my cars - obsessively. I used to steam clean the headlining and fabrics at least once a week, which stopped the smell. Now I vape the car smells sweet all the while and for the first time since I owned the car, I notice how the leather seats smell!

when I used a USB passthrough cheapy 510 thing, I used to plug it into a USB adapter I hard wired into the back of the dash (as I say, i'm obsessive, hate dangling cables and so on) and ran it hidden through the door, up into the bit near the electric window switches, and then fitted an auto retracting cable loop (cheap iPhone one), and it sat perfectly on the door arm rest part, pulled it to vape, let go and it reeled back and looked fab. Taken it out now as I use a VV constantly lol. That sits perfectly in the gap next to my iDrive controller :)

I am getting really good at dripping while driving. Usually I try and wait for a stop light. I get the tip and cover off and lay it on the crease of my pants. Holding the e-cig straight up at 12:00 with my left hand and on the steering wheel at the same time, I drip in my juice (3 drops) and usually before the light is green I have it all back together. If there are no stop lights and it's a long stretch of road, you gotta just hope for no potholes. If you keep it at 12 oclock on the wheel, the road way will be visible, just a bit out of focus for a second or two but you'll know if you're starting to drift. Worst case scenerio? pull off to the side of the road. I get a lot of wierd looks from other drivers, but they are smoking stinkies and flicking their butts on the roadside.

It they had hats that holds ecigs like they have for beers, I would get it! Anyone up for that challenge? LOL. I vape a lot when I drive, especially living in NYC and with the rush hour traffic and other aggrevating situations. My eGO-T is my "woosa" in these kind of situations. IMO, I think ecigs are safer while you drive anyway.... think about it... you can always drop it should you need 2 hands without worrying about where it lands. You don't need to really open the window while you vape, unlike a cigarette where the cherry off the analogs can always fly back through the window and either land in your back seat, lap, or even worse in your shirt! (you know that must of happened to you at least once before).

When I was smoking analogs I would always smoke more while I was driving (pretty much chained smoked while driving). Now that I'm vaping I almost do the same thing , but not as much. I guess the good thing with vaping is you don't waste the product, I know with analogs I would lit it up take a few drags, and when I'd go back to take another drag half of the cigarette was gone.

It's funny , now that I no longer smoke analogs I can see all kind of burned spots from cigarettes in my vehicle

Me too OMG! I've only been vaping for a couple months, still picking up an analog 3 or 4 times a days, but today, when I lit one out on my porch (windows closed since it's chilly today)...the smell of cigarette smoke lingered and I was amazed and startled by it! I noticed a few burn marks in my car and I'm disgusted by it now! I sooooo wish I had discovered this years ago:rolleyes:

I'd say driving is when my craving for an analogue is the highest.

Vaping while driving is a savior haha

Get a 12v-USB and a pass-through for those longer trips.

Do they make a multi-port USB/car charger adapter thingy so that I can run my portable GPS and my pass-through while driving? :p I chain vape LOL

Whenever I got a new car (new or used) I remember how I used to tell myself that I wouldn't smoke in it. That lasted about 3-4 days. Then I started smoking in it but opened all the windows in an attempt to fool myself that it wouldn't smell. Yeah...right. Then inevitably, it would rain and I was stuck smoking with the windows slightly cracked. At that point I would stop fooling myself and it was all over.

Got a killer deal on a new car about 7 months ago. Still has that new car smell !
