I too am on the road constantly between meetings and appointments. I use the Riva ( same as ego or kgo ) 1100 mah so i dont have to worry about charging. It lasts all day and then some. I found the Vision Clearomizers to be my best bet. Screw off the tip, fill it right from your bottle and vape away. Holds 1.6 ml of juice and doesnt leak AT ALL. I did the dripping thing at first with the atties that came with the Riva. Rushing to drip at a red light was a pain in the .... for me and doing so while in motion is a bad idea too. I also tried the 3.5ml tanks with dual coil and single coil cartos. Not bad but messier to fill and a little clumbsy on top of the batt. The Vision sits on top of the Riva perfectly.

I like to chill when driving. Get a Vision clearomizer or any cartomizer you like and you'll be set for vaping while driving.

I am using a Lavatube with either tank set-up or sometimes clearomizers and I am always using it while driving. I don't even thing about pushing the button to vape, it is completely second nature and I only had my Lava for less than 4 weeks. I am a home health nurse so I drive all the time. I wouldn't even consider dripping while driving, though, don't care for dripping anyways, tried it several times but I don't like the hassle, I prefer my 7 ml tank. :)

Interestingly enough, I never had a problem with the manual battery while driving. If anything, I'd prefer it to looking over my e-cig cross-eyed trying to make sure the light stays on with an auto :)

My problem with long drives + vaping was never the manual battery, but making carts/cartos last long enough for the trip.

For work i have to drive around a lot and was wondering if a auto is more easier while driving, or if there is not much of a difference. I ordered two manual ego batteries already. I was thinking i could order a 510 auto kit just for driving. I drive for a max of 2 hours in any direction and local stop and go for service calls.

I had the unpleasant experience of frying an atty while driving and vaping with an auto. It was continuously set off by the radio in the car...and that got really hot by the time I realized what was going on! That may have been this particular battery, or my radio is is too loud.

Never happened with a manual, no matter what I listen to or how loud.

Was it the radio or the air from the AC/open window? That would be my main concern about an auto -- I drive around with the windows down a lot.

well, you need one hand to hold your PV regardless of if it has an auto or manual battery, and with a manual battery you use a finger (on that same hand) to press the button, so imho it makes no diference at all.
I would say stick with the manual batteries.

I vape my ego-C while driving without any more trouble that if i had a cigarette.

I think the main issue for vaping & driving is not the battery, but whats above it, you need something that "just works" and doesnt require constant refilling, dripping, etc while you use it.

With your manual batteries + some cartos or tanks you should have no problems. Whatever you do, for the love of God, please do NOT try to drip & drive.

I fear that some day i will have a similar problem. Some times when i use my ego-c in "public" some people will stare at me with that "wtf is he doing!!!???" face on them.

I use a manual switched tube mod and drive a manual transmission car. Using the manual switch on the PV while driving is no problem if I have a hand free rom driving. Vaping with a manual switch is a easy one hand operation. However, you can't shift gears without one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter.

Back in the smoking days I could hold a cigarette in the left hand while holding the wheel: using the right to shift. Or I'd hang a cig from my mouth to leave both hands free for driving. Can't really do either of those safely with the E-Power 14650.

When I need both hands for driving the E-Power stays in the door storage compartment or on the seat next to me. You have to keep your head when vaping and driving and be ready to use both hands to drive as needed.
