Ok, so I'm jumping into DIY with both feet after lurking and reading many threads on the subject. (much as I did when I started vaping about a month ago) Got a quart each of VG and PG from Essentials Depot. The rest is from vaping Zone...

250 ml of 100 mg Flavorless USP Nicotine Liquid

Black Cigar Super Concentrated Flavor
Coconut Super Concentrated Flavor
Cream Super Concentrated Flavor
Desert Ship Super Concentrated Flavor
French Pipe Super Concentrated Flavor
Mango Super Concentrated Flavor
Mandarin Super Concentrated Flavor
Vanilla Super Concentrated Flavor
Caramel Super Concentrated Flavor
Caramel Mocha Super Concentrated Flavor
Peach Super Concentrated Flavor
Island tobacco Super Concentrated Flavor
Chocolate Super Concentrated Flavor
Cherry Super Concentrated Flavor
Real Cig Super Concentrated Flavor

Is this a decent starter kit that will keep me going for a while or.....did yall' give really bad advice? That's right, I'm blaming everyone of you if these sucks. :)

LOL.. I am pretty sure you will be happy with those flavors---out of that bunch Island Tobacco is probably my favorite as well as Black Cigar. You really can't go wrong with these especially if you are new to mixing---its nice and easy. Good luck to you!!!

Black Cigar Super Concentrated Flavor -Love it!! This is how Black and Mild is called now, btw.
Coconut Super Concentrated Flavor - Just ordered it.
Desert Ship Super Concentrated Flavor - This is my main vape, I mix it 50/50 with apple.
Vanilla Super Concentrated Flavor - Really sweet, watch out. Mix it 70/30 with tobacco and you´ll have a winner! (70% tobacco)
Caramel Super Concentrated Flavor - Nice with tobacco.
Caramel Mocha Super Concentrated Flavor - Ok vape...
Peach Super Concentrated Flavor - Nice, mixed it with desert ship and liked it.
Island Tobacco Super Concentrated Flavor - Very nice, also sweet.
Chocolate Super Concentrated Flavor - Nice vape too...
Cherry Super Concentrated Flavor - Did not like it on it´s own, but liked it with tobacco.
Real Cig Super Concentrated Flavor - Very nice smooth flavor.

I just received some of the Hangsen RY4 flavoring from VZ and it is pretty much odorless (when smelling the flavoring itself). All the other flavors I ordered from VZ have had a good strong smell to them. I went ahead and mixed some up at 9% hoping for the best. Has anyone else tried this flavor lately? Does the flavor and smell become more prominent after steeping?

Yes those need a good week steep. What percentage did you mix at? Those are not super concentrated so may need more based on your taste. Its funny what you say about the smell. To me the smell out of the bottle is pretty strong on that one.

I would say that's a hell of a starter kit there! You are bound to find a number of new juices you enjoy.

Please do be careful with 100mg nic though - it's not exactly "entry level" stuff. Down-mix in some sort of basin to contain any spills. For 50-100mg, my preferred nic vendor specifies the following as minimum personal protection: liquid/chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses or goggles, particle mask for nose and mouth, liquid/chemical resistant sleeves or coverall.

Enjoy your new home made mixes!

Since I found out about VZ SC flavours it's been a love affair for me. Easy, quick, good, what more can you ask for :) .
So here I will tell you which ones are, for me, the tops. My daily vapes, in fact

REAL CIG which I mix up at 3% (i like my juices strong) gives a good bit of body.
VFC also at 3%; So clean, fresh, love it.
Then I play with:-
MOCHA CARAMEL, COCONUT, CREAM, VANILLA, or instead of the MOCHA just straight CARAMEL.
I mix these at around 3% of each, all together, which gives me, for the Mocha Caramel mix MCCCV or 1350 (Romans?) and for Caramel CCCV or 350. They make a lovely mix, and the Mocha is very coffee tasting, super with the other 3. I sometimes add some SMOOTH (TPA), but I must do a test to see if it really makes a big difference:blink:

OK, with these basics, Real Cig, VFC, & 1350 or 350 using either the Mocha mix or the Caramel mix, I use more or less equal parts, which I suck up into a 5cc syringe, shake to mix, fill up my Clearo, and believe me, it's delicious.

Then if I need a taste revision I go for SAM MINT. It's so nicely minty with tobacco tastes hanging in, and is really balanced.

Sometimes, when I feel the need of something a bit harsher, I add some COHIBA, at 2.5%, a light cigar like taste, good for moments of doubt, I find.

I've tried quite a few others from their line. The fruits are great, but I don't feel too fruity, so it would be difficult to be just with them.
The other tobaccos are all good, but I've stayed with those I mentioned above since the first order.
It's one mark that I've never had a flavour that is too bad for me to vape. They are all good, which is quite amazing, and everyone could find something that suits them. I have, maybe it'll change, but for the time being I vape almost only my favourites.

Good mixing , it is fun, and happy vaping all of you. Bye for now.:toast:

Are you mixing these together in the same base (so, 12-15% flavor)? Or, are you saying you make up a bunch of 3% mixes and then mix those together?

I bought several flavors from VZ last week, and mixed up samples of all at 3%. Some are OK, but several just don't seem to have enough flavor.

On another note, has anyone tried the Caramel Cream Puff? I swear (and my BF agrees) it tastes like watermelon bubblegum.

Haven't tried the caramel cream puff but it sounds like maybe the bottle is mismarked--i would write the vendor about it. If anyone has tried the new gourmet super concentrated I would really like to hear about it. I am most interested in the Vanilla Spongecake and Cake and would like to hear more before I put out that kind of money.

I mixed up my first SC batch taking plenty of precautions this evening. Only mixed five flavors to start as that took about 2hrs with boiling the bottles and caps. Turned out surprisingly well I must say.

Mixed 15ml @ 15mg of each: Black Cigar, Real Cig, Caramel, Vanilla and Cream (all @ 9 drops) Checked each one with a Cisco 306 and was surprised at how well they tasted. Wound up mixing two more 15ml bottles from the premixed tobaccos with combinations of Caramel, Vanilla and the Cream. I'll let all this steep until the weekend and see how they taste.

I find the Black Cigar and Real Cig to be pretty "full flavored", vapable but strong. Similar in my mind to what I got from The Vapor Station in a sample pack as they have a Sumatra coffee-ish tobacco tone to them. Real Cig is a little lighter but I still have Desert Ship, French pipe and Island to try so....

I've been kind of burned out on tobaccos lately (Yes, even Boba's) and have been vaping a lot of fruity stuff I got in another sampler pack from MBV which I didn't care for a month ago, but now it's pretty good. It's true what they say about tastes changing.

Thanks you all for the info in this thread!!

I have the Vanilla Sponge Cake & Cake - Vanilla Sponge Cake is the winner of the two IMO. Just the smell out of the bottle, is awesome. I don't seem to get that much flavor out of Cake, but, that could be my taste buds are shot & I seem to need STRONG flavors.

I have all that you mentioned, except for Yuco. I haven't tried Choc Truffle yet, but I mixed some Van Spongecake and Cream Charlotte last night. I like the Cream Charlotte best. To me, it tastes like a rich buttery cake batter, nice and sweet. I think I will use the Van Spongecake as a mixer with fruits, it's milder than the CC. Someone told me they mixed it with strawberry for a great strawberry shortcake.

Has anyone used the VZ Super Concentrate "Caramel Candy"? Mine smells burnt straight out of the container. I mixed some up at 1.5% with 1% VZ "Cream". I have ot vaped yetn still steeping, but it still smells burnt.. Is a burnt smell normal for this flavor?

I tried one called Caramel a while back not caramel candy and I got the same thing---was not a traditional caramel---burnt smell--use very low percentage because it was powerful. Sounds like its similar. For a really nice caramel candy you can get Flavorwest or TFA.

I got in 12 (!) VZ SC flavors today, and it seems the Caramel Mocha is along the same lines as the two y'all mentioned. There is strong, and then there is STRONG. This smells like the latter. I'm going to have to keep it in a ziploc baggie, in it's own drawer away from the others, for fear it will try and escape and molest all the other flavorings while I'm sleeping. I'm thinking I'll start that one at 1% LOL.
