OK, for Michael...and I brought it to this thread since the other one is for Gourmet. I just tried the SC Butterscotch at the recommended 2.5%. Real quick, 50/50 no nic, heat steep and left the lid off until it cooled to get rid of some alcohol. First impression is meh with potential. It hasn't steeped but first thought is it tastes like a sort of caramelized butterscotch. Something from a deconstructed dessert almost. It is not sweet. It is not the kind of butterscotch taste you'd get from eating a handful of butterscotch chips (not that I'd know anything about that lol)
I think it may have some potential mixed with...something desserty, something sweet and creamy. Kind of reconstructing that dessert it tastes like it came from. I can't play more until this stupid bathroom remodel is done, but I will. Hopefully very soon.

I'll try FW Butterscotch I want that Chip or Candy Flavor. I have a couple of really lousy Butterscotch Flavors already I'm about to give up on finding a good one.

Hmmm if that tastes anything like the creamy frosting that I am thinking of it should be AWESOME.
My Mom used to make an icing that was powdered sugar, vanilla and butter ( I think ) and it was awesome...if I could duplicate that I would be in VAPE heaven.

I believe they put Cream Cheese Icing on Carrot Cake. I think what your Mom makes is Butter Cream Frosting.

I have been looking to DIY a nice caramel that is buttery and sweet.....any suggestions for a recipe to start off with?
ALL help appreciated.:)

An easy one is the NF Caramel Cream (I think I used it at 10%).

Also, STR8 (I don't remember how he spelled his name) posted one long ago for a caramel sauce that was really good. I don't know if this is it exactly. I may have changed it. I don't remember.
FW Caramel Candy 12%
LA Bavarian Cream 5%
CAP Hazelnut 2.5%
EM 2%
I think I wound up making a new version of it with less flavor.

Cocoa Chocolate is a good flavor jmo though, i did a 30ml bottle with:
3 drops EM
17 drops of cocoa chocolate = 1.25% thats at 46 drops per ml. i could of added more but even at 1.25% the chocolate taste is there you can taste it. i like it but on the next batch ill try 2% to see if theres a better taste overall.. i have 32 flavors will report back on them as soon as i start vaping them

**UPDATE**
Version 3 sweet cocoa chocolate at 8mg nic strength
4.3ml of 48mg nic
24.4ml pg/vg 50/50 blend
26 drops of cocoa chocolate at 46 drops per ml
*** 6 drops cane liquid sugar - i know its not common to use but i wanted to try something totally off course to see if i was correct, cane liquid sugar is alot sweeter than EM or sucralose. soak in hot water for an hr, then cap and top off for 24 hrs, then put cap back on shake then leave for an additional 24 hrs. sweet to vape after the process of 48-50hrs is over but should get better as the days goes by

*** dont use liquid cane sugar if you are a DIABETIC***

Huh well you will have to let us know if that ends up being a clearo etc clogger. To be honest I never need any sweetener with the SC flavors as they are pretty sweet to me at the recommended percentages. No fan of sucralose in general and EM does have its purposes but its not for everybody. Hope that works out for you.

Hi everybody! I am just about to mix up some Black & Mild and was wondering if anyone has found any other good flavor to add to the mix and at what percentage.

Steve

I've made a few mixes with Black Cigar. My wife's ADV is now 3% BC with 3% TFA Vanillin and 5% TFA French Vanilla. I've also had it with cherry and a bit of cream goes well with it. I think Cream goes well with anything though.

My personal favorite though is BC mixed with French Pipe, Cinnamon Danish and Cream. About 3% BC, 1% FP and .5% CD and cream. I use all VG though aside from flavoring so you may need to step it up a bit if you use high PG

i had success with a 50ml bottle at:

38.75ml - 50/50 blend pg/vg
10ml TFA french vanilla
31 drops black cigar ....
but if you would like to try it at a lower rate say 10ml use:

7.75ml pg/vg
2ml tfa french vanilla
6 drops black cigar .... hope you find a blend you will like

Vtwin, i find it after a few (2-4) days of steeping, shaking the bottle twice a day that it taste pretty good ready to vape, thats if your impatient like myself lol

Hi JJ, I use an ultrasonic cleaner to speed up the steeping process. I found 1 hour in the UC equals about 1 week of steeping. I do my fruit mixes for 1 hour and I do my tobacco mixes for 3-4 hours. Works really well.

When I was buying vender juice I got so tired of waiting 2-3 weeks for the flavor to be right. I too am very impatient and that is why I tried the UC. Problem solved. I am somewhat new to DIY and I have only been mixing simple flavors. I am ready to experiment with more complex flavors but I am worried that I will be throwing away a lot of "bad experiments'.

i find it that any recipe i made i started off with, if its the VZ SC at 1% for tobacco and 2% for any others then work your way up. my 1st creation i call it version 1, usually i have a good mix at version 3. if your doing VZ gourmet then its a lower % . jmo

My taste buds must be about dead. My last mix of VZ SC tobacco (B&M & Real Cig) was at 3% and I could hardly taste any flavor. I am going to go to 4% and see what happens.
