VZ Super Concentrate were ordered this weekend after reading this site.
Before this I ordered their regular flavors ,along with some bubba bounty turns out they are VG base and my lungs do not like them.
Ouestion
can I do anything with these pre-made and not lose the flavor they are ment to be, like add say 70% pg

Yes you can mix them to any ratio you want and they will work fine---hope these work out better for you than your previous flavors. The nice thing about the SC is they require far less amount to be used than regular flavors so should lessen chance of any reactions.

Has anyone used the VZ Super Concentrate "Caramel Candy"? Mine smells burnt straight out of the container. I mixed some up at 1.5% with 1% VZ "Cream". I have ot vaped yetn still steeping, but it still smells burnt.. Is a burnt smell normal for this flavor?

At the end of January, when I received mine, I mixed a batch using 6 drops in a 3 ml bottle of my VG nic base and put it aside. I just came across this question today, so I just vaped some, and don't get a burnt taste or smell (but it's now been steeping almost 2 months!) (For reference, when I dropped 6 drops in a 1ml syringe, it's about .1 ml ) At the moment my math sucks so I don't know the % .....I need more coffee lol

I mixed up some Black Cigar a couple of nights ago at 3% (what I have typically started at with the SC flavorings), and put it in a clearo for my BF to try last night (He used to love Black & Milds.) He said the taste was pretty spot-on, but was a little too strong. Going to take it down to 2-2.5% today and let him re-test.

Also, I just have to say how much I love LOVE the blackberry SC. I like it on it's own, with a little Koolada, or mixed with pie crust. Pure fantasticness, in my opinion.

This morning I'm trying out the Vanilla Sponge Cake (from the gourmet line) and Apple Pie (regular SC) and both are really good with no additives and only a day of steeping. The SC flavors really do make it easy for a DIY beginner like myself.

I'm battling with getting a good vanilla or buttery nipple flavor out of them. It seems that no matter what I try, I just can't get a smooth pure vanilla or that classic buttery nipple taste. It just seems to come out harsh no matter what PG/VG ratio or how much (or how little) flavoring I use.

Does anyone know what the ratio of the standard concentrated VZ flavors are to the SC flavors?

How much of their standard flavors equates (roughly of course) to 3% of the concentrated ones?

You might write Vz about that. I got one before and I believe the bottle was really vague like it said usage at 5-20% something like that. The reason I don't buy those is I like regular flavorings to be identified by maker be they TFA, Flavorwest, lorann's whatever. Those are not chinese flavorings but yet they don't say the brand in the descriptors either---kinda vague. I think you would treat those in the same way you would any non super concentrated but I would ask the vendor about it.

just found this older thread and got a question(newbe DIY just starting).

Is it a must to use a tobacco flavor along with other flavors? Sounds like some mix tobacco and fruit. I don't need the tobacco flavor unless it makes the fruit flavors taste better. So are these flavors ok without tobacco flavor added?

I mixed up my first SC batch taking plenty of precautions this evening. Only mixed five flavors to start as that took about 2hrs with boiling the bottles and caps. Turned out surprisingly well I must say............

New to DIY. Is there really a need to boil bottles/lids like you would for canning vegetables? From all my research this is the first time I read to do that. I would think a simple soap wash w/rinse be enough. But what do i know, I'm new just made my 1st batches this week.

Ordered super concentrated
Dunhill
555
RY4
Real Cig

555 i forgot to delete and order desert ship in its place, not to fond of the 555 anymore as i vaped a 555 before i ventured into DIY good while back and this one is similar.

Dunhill- decent tobacco with faint chocolate taste and some sort of bourbon ?

Ry4 - keeping this one for later tried it and it has promise.

RealCig excellent as tested in CE2 stainless tube- silica wick .

these were tested in stainless tube ce2's as i just use them for quick testing then move to my DID'S.

Today cleaned one of my DID20 setups with another totally different e-liquid from elsewhere - wrapped new kanthal around rinsed mesh wick 2.0ohm and filled with real cig 14mg nic/85pg/15vg @2.5% flavoring.
This Real Cig for me is just WOW.

Eventually recuperated my VZ command from the local French Customs  , after paying the tax...can't win 'em all ;)

I've already my favourites in VZ Super Conc, and now I have another to add, Old Captain. It's only a day old, as I'm lacking in patience, and I find that the VZ SC need very little seeping, even if they improve in some cases, with a week or so.
Old Captain is full bodied, slightly sweet, with a light liquorice taste, lovely tobacco flavour. I used only 2.5%, even though I often depass that with other VZ SC. But this Old Captain is just perfect at the prescribed %. It is the first time I've tried a tobacco that risks to have a liquorice taste but this has changed my mind on the subject. :vapor:
So, if I gave it a mark out of 10, it would be 10 :) . Well worth trying if you're into tobacco flavours, in fact a shame to miss it. :)

So I just thought I'd go for the whole list of my much loved VZ flavours SCAB (to shorten it, coz the name is longish ;) )

Real Cig: This one really got me going when I first tasted it, as the name is very apprpriate. It has that dirty tobacco taste, not harsh, just like it should be. One that would be super for those just quitting fags, and starting to vape. ADV

VFC: Lovely, fresh, tobacco taste, that can mix with other flavours easily, and has a slightly herby taste. ADV

Frech Pipe: Rich tobacco, with a caramel taste in the background. Slightly perfumed, but not as much as pipe tobacco, to be honest. But i like it a lot, and it is nice with a drop of Black Cherry. ADV

SamMint: Strong minty tobacco that clears the passages. Even though the mint is strong, the tobacco has a nice way of coming out. ADV

Now here are two mixes that I make with VZ, and add them to tobacco, in quantity I feel like, but not with the SamMint IMHO.

CCCV or 350: Caramel, Cream, Coconut and Vanilla, in proportions that depend on your preferences. The Caramel is strong, I find, the Cream I go to town on, the Coco and Vanilla are good, but not overpowering. I use +/- 2-4ù of each, mix them together, and add a few drops in tobacco. ADV

MCCCV or 1350: This is the same as the previous recipe, except with Mocha Caramel, which I ordered by mistake, then loved it. It's got a super coffe, slightly chocolate taste with the Caramel, which isn't as sweet as it is pure. ADV

Old Captain: A new one on me, have to see in a week or so, but it's a great taste.

Honey Flu Cured: The first honey based tobacco I've made and liked. At 2.5% it's a bit feeble, but at 3% it's great, delicate, slightly sweet, nice tobacco flavour, virginia type. I usually mix it with other flavours, but it's nice alone too.

Then there are the B&H, DesertShip etc, which are all good, but not for me, special.

B&M: Strong, slightly harsh, a perfumed tobacco, that you like or don't. It's good but not a favourite of mine.Apparantly now called Black Cigar, and slightly stronger, but these flavours go such a long way it'll be something else when I need some more... ;)

In fact I've never tried a VZ that i really don't like, they're all good, and it ends up as a question of taste. :vapor:

Dieseler, just a question, completely out of context, do you know where I can buy spare screws (the filling one, to be precise), for a Short DID? It got away, and has vanished :(. Can't find where to replace it, so if you're a DID freak??? ;)
Excuse me Shilo please.
Yes all i use, go to DID site in greece and use site "contact" then ask for the screws only and they should shipping is less than the 19 euro's if you ask them about it.
If you need website just send me a pm. ; )

I put the Old Capt up to 3%, but although it was good it has a salty taste, which I don't like in my tobaccos. So, i added some FA Maple Syrup, mixed at 10%. Just a few drops in the Clearo, and it's great. Not too much a Maple Syrupy taste, but it's taken away the salty flavour. NOW it's round bodied, perfumed and spicey, real cool. Not an ADV at the moment as I'm into custards and fruits, even cookies and cakes. But it is good from time to time. 10/10 for the Old Captain.;)
