Vapor Break Ordering Problems??? - Anyone Else?

~ Hey All: I put in an order with Vapor Break, I used PayPal for payment my order is not going through because Vapor Break says I need to add a State to my address. I go to their website to My Address and there is No spot to pick a state?

~ They say it is a problem with PayPal but I go to PayPal and it Clearly shows the State! Anyone else having Problems with Their Orders with Vapor Break?

I've placed 2 orders with them since Jan '13, used PayPal and had no issue regarding state designation. I would recommend however when placing an order to use DHL as the carrier. I went cheap on the first order and used ChinaAir and it took 22 days to arrive, the 2nd order shipped via DHL and took only 3 days from shipment. I was impressed.

I placed an order 2 days ago (VAMO SS).
I don't have any address issue but I don't get why I am stuck in "Payment accepted" while 2 friends of mine who order the day after as already received the shippment notification. Maybe because they ordered the black version of the VAMO instead of the SS? That would mean we have no idea of what is in tock and what is not when placing an order?

I placed my last order with them on 2/24 and it still has not shipped. Communication is sketchy and I have not got an excuse from them, either. My first order (in December) went fine.

It could be javascript settings in your browser.

I use an addon for firefox called noscript, and often need to allow scripts on certain sites for the order forms to function properly.

I placed an order with them on the 13th. I keep going on to their online chat and I get Karen everytime. She tells me every day, either, it'll ship today,or it'll ship tomorrow (since last Friday). Lateley she's been telling me it shipped yesterday (since Tuesday). Which she told me again on Thursday.. Since Tuesday she says I'll get a tracking number tomorrow. Guess what, still nothing. Very frustrating dealing with these people when I'm used to the more efficient Chinese suppliers. Wish I'd spent a couple of quid more and ordered through someone reliable.

Hey All: Thanks for the Advice! Turns out that the FireFox add on worked for me Thanks ‘Hiding” using it I was able to Find the Box to Add the State and was able to complete the order! Now lets see if it gets shipped!?? I have had a lot of communication with ‘Karen’ she was helpful but I think the website problem is beyond her pay scale? She did say that they were having the Webmaster make some changes but I have yet to see em? Going with FireFox add on is what helped me get passed that hurdle! I also took your advice ‘gaf3’ with the Shipping hope its going to get here sooner then I thought! I’m in full agreement with you ‘Sarje’ very frustrating working with these folks especially with the dollar amount of these orders they should get their act together! Don’t they realize we all speak about it here on the Forums?? I made it clear to them I’m sharing all my transactions here so others can have a REAL IDEA what its like! But since it’s been over two weeks since I first tried to place the order they are now out of stock on a number of items so I’m screwed on those good deals! On another Note where’s this Jeffreys Bay Sarje?

I'm having trouble finding the DHL shipping option. Only options available are China Post for $4.27, or EMS for $21.97.

For those that have received items from Vapor Break, If using the cheaper shipping, Did it come to you in the regular mail? Or was there a package to sign for from another carrier? My order from the 26th of Feb. is still not here.

Something about the Break the direction of it or something and the Tubes! He said the Best Tubes He’s ever Ridden! Plus He’s an Avid Fly Fisherman said there was some incredible Fly Fishing near there! Can’t wait to tell him! He hasn’t Surfed in a while he got the cancer it put him down hard but man he sure has the stories! He’s even Ridden Mavericks! Oh Yeah he said some of the Most Beautiful Women in Jbay!

Hey Skullman. Yep, surf's definitely the reason we're on the map. Supertubes is probably the break he's talking about. I'm the IT guy for the big surf brand that this town is also known for.

Hey Vapors: I received a message today from Vapor Break my order which finally went through with PayPal March 24th has been shipped they gave me a tracking number and confirmed the EMS Shipping which is the DHL Shipping is being used. I don’t know your situations but they have been very good about getting back to me about the situation though they don’t seem to work weekends?

They must've been out of stock. I also (finally) got an update to say that it's shipped. I wish they would've just communicated the issue from the start. I can understand stock issues as long as I'm kept in the loop. I don't appreciate the bull..... excuses.

Soberrider, I placed my order on March 1st and received it March 25th. USPS and I believe my wife signed for it (she is sleeping now sorry can't ask her.) I did get a tracking number and it showed origin all the time, after about 3 weeks it showed received then it showed up at my door in Az a couple days later??? I did not have any juice in my order, I am not sure if it makes a difference.

Hey Vapor Dudes & Dudettes: So, I just checked tracking on my order from Vapor Break and it looks like it hit the sorting facility one city over from mine 11:30 this morning which means I will probably get it in tomorrow Saturday that's if DHL works Saturdays??? If that's the case the extra $7 bucks for the EMS shipping is worth it to me! I'll let you know if it comes in! I Hope So! Lots of new toys to play with!

OK, my first order from Vapor Break (Vari-Stack) was placed on February 26th of 2013. I just today received the item 4/01/3013. It arrived defective and will need to be returned now. It is also not the color I purchased. I already made the mistake of ordering a Vamo kit from them on March 18th. I now know it may take till the end of April to get here and I shouldn't expect it any sooner. It looks like I won't even get a tracking number for that purchase. So I guess I could say, I won't be buying from them again, period. You may have had a good experience with them in the past, but I would not recommend them to anyone after this. I can just picture little Chinese people setting at the supply room laughing at us dumb gullible Americans handing over our money.

Now they are asking me for a video of the faulty unit before they will send me an RMA. Never heard of such a request for damaged merchandise.
