Sorry, I am somewhat of a noob here. I've been confused reading all these reviews and people talking about their e-cigs. So just to confirm, the Vapor King is the same thing as the KR808D? Does this include the manual and/or auto battery?? How big is the difference between manual and auto battery for this particular module? And what are the best flavors?

I've been reading this forum non-stop for the past few days and I have a serious headache from all this. I still can't decide, but I was hung up on whether to get the 510 or KR808D.

The Vapor King by V4L is a KR808D-1 that has been modified slightly for V4L. It does have both the auto and manual battery in three different sizes. The larger the battery the longer the charge lasts. Auto batteries are activated by air pressure of drawing on them, manual batteries have a button to push. Manual is sealed, autos you have to be cautious not the let liquid leak into them.

Flavors are very subjective, my favorites are the fruit and sweet flavored ones. Peach/Peach cobbler, banana, pear, English Toffee, chocolate sundae just to name a few.

I read http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...strated-guide-e-cigs-parts-1-through-6-a.html the decided that the KR808D-1 was the model I wanted to go with, no fiddling like the 510. I wanted something that would be easy for a first time user. Then I researched suppliers and based upon the rave reviews I chose V4L and couldn't be happier!

Good luck in your vaping journey no matter what you decide!

The VK is a kr808d-1,Its a 2 piece unit with cartomizers. That means a new attomizer in each cart. They are refillable or disposable depending on you budget. The VK is much, much easier to use than a 510.The carts on 510s are very small, therefor requiring frequent refilling or topping off.The batteries on the VK last much longer than 510s,More so with the xtra longs.

What is the difference between the V4L's KR808D and the regular one?? And for the different battery colors, does the LED match the color of the battery? Like the pink, red, and green colored ones. Will an automatic USB passthrough work on a manual battery?

Steve made some changes to the air holes I believe and also made them with a 13 second cutoff. There may be more changes not sure? Someone else will come along and give you a better answer on that one.
As of right now the LEDS in the new batteries are all green or blue depending on the battery you purchase.
The usb passthrough is used instead of a battery, it plugs into any usb port and a carto screws onto it.

Is there a difference between regular and V4L batteries? curious to know for future purchase. Right now I'm vaping on a V4L PT that a wonderful and kind member sent me along with a few V4L carto's! I'm impressed! I can't thank that wonderful person enough!!!
I definitely tasted a difference between the carto's she sent me (V4L's) and some I got from a co that was liquidating.

Kyi I responded to you I think in another post> If your really not sure I think the 2 piece would be great to start with. I haven't purchased from V4L yet, but from all the reviews I've read I don't think you would go wrong. I understand they have a fantastic warranty plan and DO back their products. I think most importantly is to get started in the wonderful and healthier world of vaping!

It seems that the KR808 has alot of perks when comparing to the 510.Easier to use, bigger carts, less fiddling, good batter life, etc. Then why do so many people have 510's (or other 3 piece models)?? I have been reading alot on here and it seems that alot of people use 510's over the KR808. Is it because some people just like having something to fiddle with or is the KR808 just not as great?

Don't get me wrong I love my 510 but I've been vaping on a V4L carto using their PT for the past couple of hours and haven't had to stop and refill or drip. My 510 does put out more vapor however the banana cream pie I'm vaping right now is giving more than enough TH and yes enough vapor. Vapor production was important to me in the very beginning of vaping, but now I'm concerned more with flavor and satisfaction! Heck (easy for me to say) buy em both or pick one and you can always buy a rather inexpensive adapter to convert either way. Best of luck in your decision!

I started with the 510 and it got me off analogs, but switched to the VK for ease of use. I don't think I gave up much, if any, in vapor production and the flavor seems a lot better with the VK. The 510 is pretty high-maintenance and it just got to be too much for me. Plus the battery life is far better on the VK. You'll be lucky to get an hour out of a charged 510 battery plus it will need to be replaced within 2 months in my experience. And don't get me started on the attys...
