Vapor - Why is it so important?

I am really starting to enjoy this crowd. All kinds of things to learn and a good laugh here and there to boot...

as a noob, I can def. add to the pile of "yeah it helps mentally" I get some nice throat hits with a 510 carto but not much smoke with my particular liquid, and it just feels weird!

Ummm not me, but if I had I would have to say in 3 tries I didn't get it to work

Be sure to inhale only through your nose before exhaling the vapor. You should at least see a huge reduction in the amount of vapor exhaled.

Yep... although with my DIY juice there was still some vapor, but it was very little.

Inhale Mouth then nose then mouth then nose then mouth then nose then exhale.

Or try this...inhale vapor. Stand on head. Flip back right side up. Spin in three circles clockwise. Spin in two circles counter clockwise. Put your right foot in. Put your right foot out. Put your left foot in and shake it all about. Pass out. Wake up. Exhale.

Doesn't seem to do much in terms of stealth, but it's really fun to wake up all tingly feeling from lack of O2.

Wow! That was easy! And it works!
I use mouth to draw, no lung, then inhale into lungs, follow with inhale thru nose, hold and exhale. Vola! No vapor!

FYI: Excellent Stealth Vaping Technique:

disclaimer - I didn't discover this, I saw it posted somewhere here on ECF; but haven't been able to find the post to give credit to the original poster.

I've used this technique with 60/40 PG/VG and had very little vapor on exhale.

Take a pull off your ecig, as big as you want; but leave enough room to inhale air through your nose when you're done.

That's it. Not sure why this works. But if you inhale air through your nose before exhaling the vapor, there is little to no visible vapor exhaled. This doesn't work as well if you inhale air through your mouth before exhaling the vapor. And there is no need to hold the vapor for any extended period. Vape - breathe in through your nose - exhale.

That's the method I've always used to stealth it. On buses and trains, in stores, theatres, restaurants -- I've done it everywhere. It's great -- though a little weird -- being able to indulge in places I haven't been able to indulge in for years.

I have looked and have not seen one yet, but what I would like to see is a short fat battery with a shorty cartomizer (about .8 - 1 ml) with a snubby mouth piece. Fit in the palm of your hand, roll it up in your fist if you want, and the battery would last 4 or so hours...

The GLV SuperMinis from GreatLakesVapor are my stealth and public PVs. It hides in your hand @ 2" long. With a shorty DT on a LR 306 atty it appears you're covering a cough when taking a pull. Double inhale with high PG juice for no vapor. Keep the PV to your mouth for a milisecond after the button release to get the vapor out of the DT . The batts last 5-6 hours.

The SuperMinis invite questions if you're vaping in public non-stealth because of it's unique design. I like to carry new, inexpensive DTs for smokers inquiring about it. It's fun to see the shock and awe and the twinkle in their eye when they try it.
