Because it makes you look cool bro!! Huge clouds bro! Im so awesome bro!

Kidding! Im not a cloud chaser but I do know that certain products emit anemic vapor (the older cigalikes and other badly constucted devices) dont give me the same satisfaction as say my RM2 on my Reo.

Its purely a psychological thing though in my opinion. I know how much smoke I would blow out on a good hit off a cigarette and I try to replicate that.

A well built coil on a Protank or a 1.3 ohm coil on my RM2 is just right! No where near anemic, and not creating a miniature eco system in my living room.

If thst makes any sense.

For some people, quantity of vapor production is part of what makes vaping satisfying.

This doesn't apply to everyone, of course, since everything about vaping is so subjective. What one person needs to be satisfied with the experience will vary greatly from what the next person needs, so having a benchmark for vapor production in reviews is important to some people

I see most youtube reviews refer to how much smoke or vapor a particular item produces. Why is that important?

More vapor usually means a faster buzz, more flavor, and more smoke to play with. It isn't the only measure to go by, but most people like blowing nice thick dense flavorful clouds.

I usually say that my pv is my "waterpipe"... imo it's much more like smoking pipes, which always produced more smoke to play with and much more taste than regular cigarettes. So clouds are funnier, just ask Gandalf or anyone in the whole Shire ;);)

(cloudchasing is the fun part, flavourhunting is the satisfying part)
