Hi all,

Been lurking for a while and decided to join. Ordered my first couple batts and the two tobacco shop samplers in the middle of last week. Shipping was blazing fast and am now happily vaping away. Just took advantage of the V-day sale and scooped up a bunch more cartos (loving the wow Kamel, flew through the sample carto in a day), juice and three more batteries. Had no real intention to quit analogs, but since I've been vaping I've only had a few here and there with friends while out drinking. Looking forward to getting involved!

Thanks Hyde :D The main reason I decided to give vaping a shot (aside from loving my vaporizer I used to use for... other purposes) is that cigs here in NYC are up to $12 - $13 a pack. I realized my pack a day habit was costing me well over $70 a week. For that money, I can get enough cartos and juice to last me, easily, over a month. No brainer :p

Welcome to the V4L Family dune. I did the same thing, smoked a few analogs at first, but vapor became so much better tasting that I sort of unintentionally quit smoking them. G'luck. I vape in bars with no problem so far. That helps. I refused to go outside to smoke, so I quit bars. I live where there is this thing called winter, and it's something like Brrrr Degrees here right now - lol

Same here inre: smoking in bars. I'm a bartender, and used to have to leave the bar unattended to go smoke (sucking em down as fast as I could) on nights when we didn't have a bouncer. Now I can just take a few drags while I'm serving without any problems. Have had two double shifts and haven't felt the need to go outside once. Pretty cool

Welcome 'cap! LES, huh? I lived there from 72-74, as a kid of course!

There was a building there in the seventies, I swear! Can you guess what street it's on? LOL.

Hi V4L crowd,

I've been around the forum for a few weeks now and thought I should say hello. I started vaping on January 21 and have had a pretty good experience so far. I started out with Green Smoke ('nuff said), bought two other kits, and on the fourth try went with V4L. Like so many others I didn't find ECF until making a few mistakes, but I think I'm on my way now.

I'm having fun experimenting with different juices now and the VISA bill keeps growing. I remind myself that it's an investment in my health. Plus, it's kind of fun, and I never looked at cigarettes as being "fun".

Anyway, I've been enjoying the V4L forum and look forward to the information and entertainment!

So Cap, what bar you tend in? PM if you prefer. If it's near one of the famous pastrami joints in the city, I'd be sure to stop in! LOL... near the 2nd Ave deli maybe?

Hey there. I'm new to the forum and new to V4L. I just got my starter kit saturday and I've already decided that the analogs that I have are the last that I will smoke. I still get an urge, but it's pure habit at this point. The ritual of pouring a cup of coffee and sitting out on the screen porch is quite ingrained after all these years. Now all I have to do is kiss that last pack goodbye.
