Hey all, nOOb here, vaping for a week now, no analog for 5 days! Reals starting to taste bad to me! Anyway, despite all of that, I've already realized not to order from V4L. First off, I ordered a overpriced bottle of their "wintergreen" liquid that I am less than satisfied with, Green Van: now that's a party! Second of all, in my order comments, (with my overpirced e liq) I asked "HOW MUCH are samples, I am interested in trying the popular Cowboy Menthol". On the returned invoice, I get a rather snotty wrote in response pointing out that bonuses are randomly picked and its either a bonus, or their "discount" which I got, that was %10. I never asked for anything free. The "Bonuses" were two cartomizers with plain Parliement and kamel flavors that don't even fit on my 510 (which I love!) So, I guess I'll never know how good or bad Cowboy menthol is, because I will never be on their site again. And I suggest any other nOObs reading do the same.

Generally vapor4life is well regarded on ECF, decent prices and CS. They constantly run sales (check the PIF deals and steals thread).
808 cartos coming from them is no surprise -- they are a KR808D-1 supplier, everything except the bottles of eliquid is KR808D-1 focused.
If you are a menthol fan, something like: WOW Vapor Menthol Lovers Sampler Cartomizers Wow Cowboy Menthol Wow Kant Menthol Wow Nuport Wow Smilin Special Menthol Wow Peppermint
with a 510batt-808carto adapter (around $1 from good prophets) would let you sample 5 flavors. I'd tend towards the WOW cartos if you have 510 gear -- they are lower resistance than coolcarts, likely a better match to your batteries.

Yeah, I can't hear enough of how they're "well regarded" on here, but after not liking the product and getting my invoice corrected like an English paper, circles and all, I'm none too happy :( Wouldn't you think it would be a smart move to send out a couple of drops of a new liquid (after I DID make a purchase) knowing that if I liked it that I most likely will order from them again?

Probably because they just aren't set up for small liquid samples -- they sell all 30ml, and KR808D-1 hardware, it's their business model. If you build up enough posts, so you can post in other forum areas, you could likely post in their forum that you are trying to dig up a few small samples of their menthol and get a positive response from an ECF member.
Good luck!

Bah. Dont get all bent out of shape over something so trivial bud. Not everyone likes everyone elses product. They also have reviews within their website that don't pull any punches to help you decide. You asked a question and they may or may not have been pissy in their reply. Either way you shouldn't let them get to you and manipulate your emotions. Who's in charge of you? You? Or them? Of course you could always ..... out their customer support! :D

I've ordered a lot from V4L and always had good service; but if you experienced bad service you should let them know.

It appears that what happened is they misunderstood you. Keep in mind, people in all businesses are used to being hit up for freebies. You asked "HOW MUCH are samples, I am interested in trying the popular Cowboy Menthol." Since you asked for the price, you obviously weren't looking for either a bonus or a discount. The person who filled your order, unfortunately, misinterpreted your intent.

You should get in touch with them and send them a copy of the invoice so they can teach whoever filled the order that anytime what a customer says is ambiguous at all, it should be interpreted (and reacted to) in the most positive instead of most negative light.

Vapor4Life is a KR808D-1 store, not a 510 store, not primarily a juice vendor

I think it is very nice they give samples sometimes but of course they are KR808D-1 cartos and yes they are random like most free samples. If you want to try KR808D-1 cartos, get a 510 to 808 adapter (or the 99 cent 510 to 901 adapter at Goodprophets) and buy a sample pack of V4L cartos that includes the flavor you are interested in. They are a KR808D-1 vendor and their juices match their cartos.

And BTW - even with vendors that are primarily juices vendors, don't expect all of them to have small samples because some do not, and some only have samples of some flavors.

Well everyone, thanks for all the info! Since they are NOT primarily a juice vendor, I'm going to be using ones that are. Any good suggestions, Dormouse?

Good advice, Brittany and Poet.

If your looking for a tobacco menthol, try Backwoods Brew Menthol.

Vapor Station has good tobacco juices so I'm sure their tobacco menthol is good and they do have small sizes. I vape nhalers newport and love it. Been vaping it for 7 months straight. But it's really not a tobacco menthol although he does have 555 menthol. He only has juice in 24 mg and 12 mg though.

Right!? They send a nice big sample, now THAT's how you get a customer! Good to hear, thanks Swedish! And for all the V4L peeps...the Wintergreen is becoming better as it steeps, the door isn't completley shut on them. Try the Backwoods Sweedish if you want a nice, warm relaxing menthol. I tried Arcic cause I need that ZAP once in a while, which it sounds like it delivers. I am eventually gonna try Fire/Ice and Cinnabomb. Mr E's Green Van as I stated in a couple of other posts is also a "punch you in the throat" kind of deliciousness that I need once in a while.

Just to chime in. V4L has always given excellent customer service as attested to by many many people here on ecf. I think they probably did misunderstand you. They do write on all my orders and I figure its just them checking off that they got this in my package or that. Sometimes they will substitute something for me if they dont have what I ordered in stock and then throw in a freebie or something. I don't see how you think their juice is over priced. Its 12.50 and usually you can get about a 20% discount at least which makes it less that 10 bucks for 30 ml?

Vaping vendors are still pretty much mom and pop vendors, they are not Amazon. This is one of the things I love about vaping and dealing with the vendors. Call up v4l or use their chat assistance and you will get a real person on the phone, not some press 1 for english, press 2 to speak to a complete ....., press 3 to get transferred around voicemail, press 4 to give up.

They are not really a juice vendor so they probably didn't have samples to give out. They do have a menthol sampler pack of pre-filled, though which isn't too big of a price to order. Sorry you had a bad experience, but they are a good vendor.

Fire n Ice is pretty strong!! If you like that sort of thing you'll like it. It was a bit much for me. Fire n Ice is a mixture of the cinnabomb and Artic Ice. You get the hot strong cinnamon plus the cool artic ice.

Another nice thing about Vapor Bomb samples is the send you the nicotine strength the same as your juice order. I vape 24 and got a sample from another vendor in 6 mg.

I appreciate the chiming in, that's what we're all here for, si? And like I said, not completley done with them, just expected a little different tact in dealing with a new customer. And btw, $6.95 for shipping one 30ml bottle is just plain Bull-oney! But I'm getting used to the fact that you're gonna pay about $20 a bottle from anywhere, not complaining so much about that. I am new, just trying to see what's good and what's great.
I like the fact that I can order a few 4 dollar bottles from Vaporbomb and make a decision off that, maybe V4 should try it out.

I like V4L and the only thing that we have purchased there are juices. My husband is not big on variety. Even though I have ordered him different flavors from different vendors he ALWAYS goes back to his WOWboy Nobacco Juice. It is his favorite, so we will continue to be V4L customers. I recently tried their WOWPeppermint and I have to say, I vape it all day and I was NOT a menthol smoker. I have to say, that if you get on their mailing list, they will send you some sort of discount to your email almost every day. The last order I placed, I got 21% off of my entire order. Also, I am fairly new to this but is $12.50 for 30ml expensive? I guess it doesn't matter since I doubt I will be able to get my husband to switch!! :D
