We have 4 indoor cats and one of them tries to get outside when ever an opening comes up. Normally Tippy is just the most lovable little guy you could ever imagine, on the rare occasion when he gets out, he turns into this wild beast and no one can get near him. He will hiss, growl and scream in the most evil maniacal way you have ever heard.
Well one day we were having a cookout with family and Tippy got out when someone wasn't checking. When I saw he was out, I knew I wouldn't be able to just pick him up and bring him in so I grabbed a blanket and went after him. He eluded me for quite a while and then went into the little wooded area that borders our property. I was finally able to
throw the blanket over him and scoop him up all the while he is just a hissin and screaming for all his worth. I started out of the woods and got almost all the way out when it happened. I was wearing sweat pants with nothing on underneath them and they got caught on a branch. I didn't dare put him down so I just kept tugging away and low and behold my pants came down. There I was walking out of the woods in front of all the family carrying a screaming, hissing cat wrapped up in a blanket with my pants down around my ankles and nothing on underneath them, suffice to say, I was more than a little embarrassed. Now anytime we have a cookout, I am asked what the entertainment will be this time.
After that incident, we bought a large fish net that we can scoop him up with when he gets out.
