      First Impressions:

As usual, Vaporesso did a nice job of presenting the kit in the box. Everything was laid out nice and neat. Along with the new Luxe II mod they have included the 8ml NRG-S tank. The entire line of GT series coils is compatible with this tank. I am very familiar with this tank from other reviews I’ve done and have also purchased spares of this tank since the GT series coils are a favorite of mine. The color of the kit I received is called bronze coral and I find it very pleasing to the eye. The picture on the outside of the box doesn’t do it justice.

I won’t go into great detail on the NRG-S tank since I’ve already reviewed it with another kit but will say that I really like this tank. The drip tip isn’t my favorite but that’s easily rectified. I do like the slide to fill top cap with a large fill port. I also appreciate the 8ml capacity which is very convenient for a kit like this where you are most likely running high wattage and going through a fair amount of liquid. The kit comes with the GT Meshed Coil (0.18Ω, 50-85W) and the GT4 Meshed Coil (0.15Ω, 50-75W). I liked both of those coils in the lower range near 50 watts.

The Luxe II is the star of the show in this kit. I very much like the design not only on this one but a few of the different IML battery cover panels on this mod. There is a notch under the V logo on the bottom to allow a fingernail for lifting the cover. The magnets are very strong so even with the notch it’s not easily removed and basically no chance of the cover ever coming off accidentally. I can’t say enough good things about the 2” TFT color display. It has great resolution in my opinion. On the display are two battery indicators, the current mode, time, coil resistance, puff counter, voltage and puff timer.

The mod is turned on and off with five clicks of the fire button. Upon turning on, it shows “Luxe II”, and “Axon chip”. The Axon chip is a favorite of mine and enjoyed using it in the Gen mods. Three clicks of the fire button locks or unlocks the menu and up and down touch sensors. Three presses of the menu button while it’s unlocked will take you into the menu system where you will find Pulse, ECO, STC (smart temperature control), DIY, and Set. Pressing the right or left sensor button will navigate through the options and pressing the menu sensor will select that item. Inside the DIY menu you’ll find VW, VT, VV, CCW, BP, and SP. Honestly there are probably more options on this mod than I would ever use but I think it’s great that Vaporesso tries to cover all the bases to accommodate vapers of different styles.

      Final Thoughts:

The Luxe II is a very versatile and attractive looking kit. I was already somewhat familiar with the menu system since it reminds me of other Vaporesso mods I own. I very much like the tank that was included. I also like how Vaporesso included a menu button. To me that very much simplifies the operation for all experience levels of user. The mod is a bit of a fingerprint magnet but that really doesn’t bother me much and it is easily cleaned. I simply love the display on the Luxe II. The mod and tank combination are a little bit heavy but the hand feel is really good on it. I have come to expect that most dual battery mods will be a little hefty. Not to mention an 8ml tank sitting on top of it.

So, the question is would I recommend the Luxe II kit. Yes, definitely if you would like a stunning display on a dual battery mod that has just about every feature that you could ask for and an 8ml tank that will last you for quite a while. That and a wide assortment of coils available that will work in this tank.

I’d like to thank Jasmine and Vaporesso for sending the Luxe II kit which allowed me to write this review. Also thanks to any and all readers of my reviews. Below is a link to the Vaporesso site if you’d like to take a more in depth look at the Luxe kit.

Sounds like a winner hitt, nice review.

Thanks! I really do like it a lot. I almost forgot that I have the original Luxe. I should have gotten it out to take a picture side by side.
