Everyone should have backups for their backupsThat would be my suggestion, too. It's great to be able to charge via USB, but if you only have one mod then a pair of batteries and a charger is ideal. That way you don't have to worry about having to wait to vape!I get more than a full day of use out of the Pro with an LG HG2 in it.
NICE!!! I wholeheartedly agree. There is no such thing as too much gear.Everyone should have backups for their backups

They changed thier website. You can find a Download Firmware link on the right below the pictures of the Target Pro here... Target Pro E-Cigarette Kit | Vaporesso www.vaporesso.com/e-cigarettes/kits/target-pro
I'm watching Rip Tripper's review (yeah, yeah, yeah) and he also mentioned the usb cable. It's a nice cable![]()
have you tried using a different USB port? What was he mentioning about it? -- its just the dam thing wont recognize it ;\
Ive tried another usb cable beside the one vaporesso provided, wonder if the device is faulty?

Do you have the update tool open? I found that without having the software open and active I get a USB error as well. It took me a little fiddling to get it to read the device at first but I seriously love all of the stuff you can do on there once it captures your mod.Hello All - New Here. Just thought id go ahead and start asking about this, Im new to the vaporesso firmware updating thing, I downloaded the software, but im having issues with the USB not recongizing it, or an USB Error, Any other input or suggestions on what i could try. Thanks!
Oh! I also had to change ports. I can't remember which one reads it right, the 2.0 or the 3.0, but try that as well. What was he mentioning about it? -- its just the dam thing wont recognize it ;\

Ooops, ya beat me to it!have you tried using a different USB port?
There is no update yet that I am aware of, so you won't get that notification. You can customize it once it's being read, though.Yep - different usb cables been used, its showing an triangle in the device manager, but theres no drivers being updated
edit - ive tried several computers as well, its showing the same thing. kinda odd.
You do need to have the tool open before you plug in the device, I think. I had the same problem. Closing and reopening the software and then plugging in the device should work. If you still have trouble, there is a "Connect" tab at the top of the welcome page. I captured a screen shot of mine. It's at the top just right of the middle.Actually, i had it plugged in before i opened up the update tool software, i wanted to do some customizations, but the usb isnt recognizing the device, nor it wouldn't connect either. - this is whats popping up.
see attached.
Yay! Have fun customizing it! I'm glad you got it resolved.Welp - After doing some messing around, i noticed when i turn off the vaporesso target pro, and plugged it in and open up the software, it can recgonize, and now im able to do some customization's - so guess that's how im gonna have to deal with the error and i can still do some fixings.
thanks to cooladdict for the suggestions, it worked somewhat
Whoa! I just checked mine and there does appear to be a screen protector on it. I had no idea!Anyone else having this issue? I have a bubble forming on the front of the lcd screen. I don't remember peeling off any protective plastic from the screen like most things have, and I'm affraid to try and peel it off if its not supposed to come off. @Beyond the Ordinary
