Hi,

I was interested in the VaporLuxe from Ace of Vapes, but I read it doesn't handle DC's. This was a concern for me (as I have a lot of those), so I mailed their support. They replied that it works - in fact the person replying was vaping a clear DC on a VaporLuxe at that moment.

So I ordered. But I saw a few more posts claiming that it doesn't work after that. So I was a bit worried and asked some more questions, but haven't heard anything back from VaporLuxe (which I also read they tend to do - bit of a bummer, but it's only been a few days, so they might still respond).

So, anyone know if this will cause me any problems? Should I keep the mod at it's lowest voltage setting? Could I damage the device with dual coils?

I haven't received the unit yet (in fact, it hasn't shipped yet either as far as I can tell), so I can't test it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. The lowest voltage setting on these is 4.3 - would that be a problem? I don't know anything about volts, watts, ohms, amperes and how they relate to eachother :)

You will not damage the device by using or attempting to use a dual coil. The circuit has overcurrent protection.

Good to know. Could I damage my carto though?

What carto's would be best suited for the Vaporluxe at 5v?

Besides my Smok DC's, I've got the following (and the right adaptors) :
- SR and LR Boge carto's
- Echo-E carto's
- Echo-E Dual Coil carto's (2.2-2.4 ohm)
- Bloog/Volt/G6 carto's (2.6 ohm I think)

I'm guessing everything except the LR Boges should be fine - correct?

Thanks!
