I was on a cruise ship at the time. My annual escape from the hectic life of working in the hospitality business is to take a cruise. Always feels nice to be on the receiving end of good service

Usually just a quick 4 nighter out of Miami, but this year my goal is to go big. 14n from LAX to MIA via the Panama Canal on the Disney Wonder.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. Even a 4n cruise is nice. Part of switching to vaping is the expected additional cash flow from not buying traditionals. The money I will be saving (Still in the hole from initial investment, but about 2 weeks until I totally climb out) will go towards some nice stuff.

The money I will be saving (Still in the hole from initial investment, but about 2 weeks until I totally climb out) will go towards some nice stuff.

I have the initial investment already figured into the counter in my siggy line. With the exception of consumables, I'm banking 90% of what I've saved over analogs. Once I get enough saved, I'm definitely splurging on something to reward myself for quitting this 25+ year habit.

Heh. Some days I wish I had it that simple. I work at a larger convention center campus resort with almost 2000 rooms. We're often turning 500 out and in on the same day.

I had 52 rooms. During some stretches of winter we might only have 1 room rented at a time. Made the night audit a piece o' cake!

On the cruise thing...I wanna go again so bad. I have only been on two short ones. One was to Bermuda and the other to the Keys and Cozumel. Way better than a beach trip and about the same price.
