I don't know about that. Those damned litter boxes need too frequent cleaning. If they'd only learn to use the toilet. LoL

We've got 5 cats. Itty Bitty, Pete, Chubby, Rosie, and Cookie. First 3 are rescues and the last 2 are adoptees.

5 cats, 4 dogs, 1 rabbit & 1 fish + 4 humans = Too many mouths to feed. Technically we're 1 over the limit on dogs & cats, but whatcha gonna do? Can't send 'em to the local shelter, they're not a "no kill" facility.

Oh yeah... Forgot the fish. I don't like fish but my hubby and daughter wanted it. They got an Oscar named Glub Glub. Our daughter named it. We are allowed 4 dogs here and no limit on cats. We had 4 dogs but one passed about 2 years ago. We adopted our cats too but we got the dogs from a breeder. Only 2 of our chickens live outside so keeping up with them and keeping the house clean is a lot of work but I don't mind most of the time

We just recently got another litter box so now we have 2. With that, I only have to clean them every other day instead of every day but I wish mine would use the toilet too

My mother-in-laws cat used the toilet (he died of old age a couple years ago). I woke up in the middle of the night and had to go pee and there he was doing his duty. Yup I got pictures of it lol

[edit: Was reminded the Rosie was a rescue too. Had a broken femur at the ball & socket. Wife did a 'experimental' surgery to attach the ball while the bone healed. Standard treatment would have been amputation. The "owner" opted to put her down instead of doing either repair. Don't know why people have issues w/ 3-legged cats. Pete's a tripod & he's a mighty fine fellow.]

What litter you use? I had a hard time finding one that really killed the odor till I tried Fresh Step. Works really good. I think the reason I can get away with every other day is because Splinter only uses one of the boxes and Kiwi will only use the other box and Goober uses both and it seems to not fill them up as fast.
