Yeah, dinosaur fixation is a fun one to indulge. We used to get these things for kids for xmas... they're dinosaur excavation blocks. You get a huge block of sorta semi solid sandstone, and all these excavation tools, and you have to 'dig' your way to the individual dinosaur bones, then reattach them like a model. Used to get em from some intelli kids type site. Most 'into' a toy I ever saw kids get. Kinda snazzy. And there's a ton of dinosaur ones, so in the end, they end up with a ton of semi articulated dinosaur skeleton models. Great fun.

Wow! That sounds really cool! "K" would really like that, she always is asking for anything to do with dinosaurs. I got her a dinosaur egg that was made of sandstone or something of the sort that you had to use excavation tools to reveal the little dino inside. She thoroughly enjoyed that
Yep, like that, but a lot longer term project. Used to take 3 kids a few days working on one, so same thing, just more elaborate. Gotta find all the bones, or can't put the dino together. lol Pretty fun toy. I've seen those egg ones, though, very cute.
