1969 The Burning River

The Cuyahoga River has at times been called the most polluted river in the US. It was so bad fish wouldn't live there. it has burned a number of times due to oil, sludge and trash but when it burned in1969 Time magazine did an article on it. This helped raise awareness across the country about the effects of pollution and thus helped lead to the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency.

9, 10, 11 & 12 are my posts for today. I have numbered them consecutively since the beginning, not starting over each day. Although, I usually do this late after work and some may be before midnight and some after, but they are 4 in a 24 hour period, or close to it, depending on how late I work. One to four, the first day, five to eight are day two and these, nine through 12 are for today. Is that right? Doesn't really matter, I am enjoying this thread so much. I come home and take a stroll back to my youf. Great idea.
