The "regular" VS DNA30 does not allow you to swap out the battery - it's a built in lipo bat.
The rDNA30 has a replaceable battery (thus, the "r"). They used to come with Sony VTC4's installed, now it's another brand, but the principle is the same - one 18650 IMR battery, charged via USB (you can
vape while it charges). You could take the bat out and charge it as you would any other 18650, but it's not worth the bother - the USB does a cracking job of charging, plus doing it this way means you can charge it anywhere you have access to USB charging (much less hassle than lugging a full charger around with you).
Since the unit comes with a battery installed, you won't need to source one separately. Note that the battery used is a flat top - your AW's will be button tops and I'm not sure they would fit (they might, tho). If/when the installed battery dies, you can swap in another battery of the same format.
