The cdr of those batteries is 20 amps so no wonder they heat up. Use 30 amp cells, three LG hb2/4/6, if you're gonna push the batteries that hard.

I use the HG2 with the RX200 and the reuleaux DNA, I also have two married pairs for my dual battery devices. I use my trusty VTC4 for the crazy builds that need 25+ amps.

Note that the vtc4 is va 23 amp battery, not 30.

Most people get the Sony batteries confused. My local vape shop still reccommends vtc4's as the best battery at 30 amps. Only the vtc3 came close to that, but there are so many fakes of those.

I always preferred Samsungs as they are least likely to be fake, but then again I have absolutely no need for 25+ amps.

Iam a power mod user but I see diference in vape quality with same tank on diferent chip. Eleaf line is to agressive for me but evic and cloupor is diferent story, much smoother vape. Iam having doubts about buying dna60 or yihi just for the power mod or just buy another cloupor and switch chip.

Honestly if you just use power mode; don't buy an Evolv board, I don't notice a difference between my DNA and my non DNA devices.

It'll probably not be easy to fit a DNA chip in the cloupor box.

Bottom line for both the YiHi and DNA boards are they're designed for TC. If you plan on only using it in power mode, there's no reason to pay the premium. I don't have a YiHi mod to comment on, but the TC on my DNA mods is outstanding, and I use 316L SS without an issue.

Oh, and I like messing with eScribe as well.
DNA 75 in power mode I find actually works better than most mods out there, I don't use preheat and ramp up time is much quicker than most mods.

Single 18650 Ramps up faster than both my dual 18650 mods..

It's probably going to cost more than a new one but hey, if that's your thing. it'll be unique,so there's that.

Not to knock it though, I made 3 custom dna75 C frames that cost me around 150 each, all in. vs switch box cost me 100 and I use it more often.

I know but love these mods and love to tinker with electronic.
Yeah, same, just putting that out there though, bc I thought I was actually saving money doing that.

Mine are stainless steel c-frames that use the modified blocks and the sleeves from my old dna40 zero's

I have a freind who makes custom bike parts so I got him to make a few c-frames for me. I still have 2 extra, my plan was to do a couple of stab wood ones but the cost of decent dna75 mods rn makes it not worth the effort to me.
