Dunno if this was asked before, but i was wondering since the Fullymax batteries on the VS are user replaceable, is it possible to use other LiPo batteries with larger capacities? If yes, has anyone tried?

Higher capacity will also be bigger size most likely. Then it wouldn't fit anymore.

Thanks for the info dimo, didn't know that in LiPos capacity is positively correlated to size.
Ya my mod has a zippy compact 100, I looked at bigger batteries and none can compare. I also use fly rc planes. I can balance/charge a dead battery to full in about 45-50 min or so with my charger.

How is this possible?
With a lipo charger. I have one of these for my quadcopters:

Is there any accurate information the mod settings, I have been reading a lot of differences from Internal Resistance and Battery Capacity setups, and there is no information about thermal casing settings.

I have been trying to look for a manufacturing defaults ecig file to upload and there is none available?

Why can't the manufacturers just list them in their official website? It like buying a microwave oven without any presets and they expect buyer to do their own battery and resistance analyzer with this ridiculous giant coil loops.

This is BS man! If the manufacture are not doing anything well at least evolve need to step up but rather they just let users do experiments themselves and discuss it in forums.

Evolv has provided you with the tools you need to test your own mod/build for proper values. Users have shared their results in forums like these. Evolv builds the chip. They cannot be expected predict the values for any/all builds it is used in.

It's not an Evolve issue as noted above, the DNA chip can go into any mod with any battery, case resistance, wiring, etc. BUT if you go to the Evolve website there is a very active forum where the members are very willing to share the files with you so you can set your device up. Many have already done the homework for you so you don't have too. If you have a really popular mod chances are that you can just post the question & a few members will send you the files.

All I can say is that everything Vaporshark comes out with is just straight

From what I understand, the Vapor Sharks are already set up from the factory. Also to my understanding they are using a DNA board that was made by Evolv specifically for their units as well.

There's enough variances from internal mod resistance from the exact same mod case and battery capacity from the exact same (labeled) battery that having the tools to run your own tests for your particular mod/battery is way better than getting outraged at not having settings from a pre-built device.

For those that don't reallly care, just run it as is and you'll be pretty close and still have a satisfying vape.

I've never ran any of those tests on any of my DNA200's and I've had no issues at all. The VS DNA200 does come with factory settings for internal resistance and battery capacity. My Hana V200 came as you would buy the board in bulk with nothing set. I have 3 others that I built myself and they work great w/o having run any tests. I did enter the battery capacity but that's it.

So actual VS DNA200 owners, hows the battery life? Thinking about getting one of these, prob will run it either with a uwell crown (I vape it around 40-50watts) or herakles plus (45-65watts)...wanted a ball park figure on how often I'd need to recharge.
Hard to say. I can vape about 6-8ml in a KF4 on my DNA200 @25w TP. The VS DNA200 has 2a charging vs 1a on a regular DNA200 board.

I have just received my Vaporshark dna200, one of the newest batches as it had 03/01/2016 printed inside the battery door, and my oh my this is one sexy little beast. The finish is awesome, the screen is amazing. This is my first VS ever.
I was also tempted to buy the real wood skin, so i got the walnut finish, it looked amazing in pics.
Now i'm really hesitant to apply the wood skin. It uses 3m pressure sensitive adhesive, which i guess is pretty strong once you install the skin. I'm not really sure how it will be possible to safely remove the wood skin if i wanted to in the future without damaging the mod coating, given the rubbery/grainy texture of the VS finish which will contribute to a stronger adhesion imo.
I contacted the manufacturers to ask for advice, and still waiting for their reply.
Any thoughts?

i can officially say i joined the VS DNA 200 club. i just received my shark in the mail today. i would of never thought about owning one unless the price went way down from $200. long story short, after a few emails back forth between me and a dude named Brian by bringing something to his attention, he offered me a VS 200 for $130. i couldn't pass up the offer so i jumped on it.

My DNA200 was my first VS I didn't pay full price for. I got it during a 20% off sale so $160 shipped. Love all my Vaporsharks.

i got a standard black plain jane sleeve coming from sweet vapes. i'm scared to handle this without a skin. both my other VS 40's have always had a sleeve on them from day one and their finish is still 98% intact. this shark will not - see the inside of a pocket, will not be set down on a hard surface or looked at the wrong way until i get my skin, lol. i really like it so far. came set up with 9.91 wh's, 0.007 mod resistance and case analyzer ran. for profiles it came with - SS316L, NI200, TITANIUM, TUNGSTEN, and 3 SSV Ti profiles (which i deleted. i'll never get their Ti.). oh, and the 2 amp charging is sweet. i find the VT200's white charge cable (thicker wires) is better than the one VS sends.

edit........also came with newest firmware where you can select "temp dominant"

@AtimzrOpin What is "temp dominant"? Guess I must update...
technically it's still a beta firmware/escribe. the update has an option in escribe, among other new features, to adjust temp on the main screen rather than having to lock then hold etc. it basically flip flops power adjustment to where temp adjustment should be. you're adjusting temp on the fly rather than wattage. all my 200's are now temp dominant when running a TC wire. i find it easier to get the vape/heat i want faster. i just set the wattage at 100 and adjust my temp to my liking now.
