I got the 2a wall charger from vs, but the only cord I could find that would allow 2a charging was the cord for my ps4. I would try different cords if you have them.
Thanks, trying a different cable did the trick, using the same 2a charger as before, and now its charging near 2a.

VS set it at 10.22 but the watt-hour calculator says 9.99, @mikepetro says the battery analyzer came back with 10.08, and evolv says the reference mod (with the same battery) should be set to 9. Mine has been regularly stopping at 94-98% set at 10.22 so I don't think the factory setting is accurate.

Mine's set to 1022 and it reads 100% when fully charged.

Hey y'all. New to posting but been following this forum for a couple months. Lots of good info. Like I cancelled my card just to be on safe side.

I have a VS coming I. The mail by this weekend. I have a Militia Mods 200 and it came ready to go with custom profiles. Never been in Escribe. So I was wondering what I should do if anything when I get this new mod.

I use tfv4 with Ti and other Kanthal coils for it. I also build my own Ti and Kanthal builds.

I noticed right off the bat that I could vape way past zero with the VS default settings. I ran battery analyzer at 100 watts and it came up with 10.71Wh and a 3.05v soft cutoff. Some packs are just better than others, even from the same manufacturer. I happened to get a well match set.

I will probably run it again in a couple of months to see how much capacity I loose with age.

You can just set up profiles if ya want. I have meter messed with them as I adjust the mod evwrytime I use a different tank or build. You can update the software, if needed. Also, you could lower the preheat temp if you want, to save battery life. Default is 200, and I have found that 75 does just fine for me. It's all personal preference. Besides that I adjusted my screen brightness settings.

Play with the device monitor as I find it pretty dang cool.

My VS DNA200 came with presets for various tanks and the preheat was set to 40 or 60w. I believe the bare DNA200 boards are set to 100w preheat. This is one of the few devices that you can vape out of the box w/o Escribe and not get a lung full of fire. My Hana v200 was set to factory defaults and no custom screens or anything done to the DNA200 board. I have my preheat set to 60w on all my DNA200 devices.

Is the cable that comes with the Vaporshark 2A charging cable or only for the Escribe?

The cable is a standard USB cable for power AND data.

Any cable that meets the power and data spec will do.

As for two amperes (2A) that requires a connector that will supply 2 amps. Thus, you need both the proper cable and the proper connector. The iPhone charger is not 2A the iPad connector is.

You can buy a USB Tester that will show the charge amps & voltage. Here is one such meter/tester

Thanks I will order this tester. Great info.

So the Vaporshark cable in the box is not 2A but it will still charge but at a slower speed?
