Well I'll just answer myself then lol. My VS rDNA clone just came in today and on my bday to boot. I won't throw up a review since my unit is no longer available to buy as it was purchased from gearbest. Unlike everyone else's clones mine shows a blue LED light when pressing the fire button. TC worked right off the bat as I attached an RDA and a tank with premade GCT coil. Comparing to my authentic dna 40 device this clone registers my coils as .01 + or - off ohm readings. In temp mode it doesn't throttle wattage as it ought to but it does attempt to by way of a weird pulse it seems. Charred dry cotton on a fresh coil @380F 25w took about 5 seconds before it did. My guess is the temp is off several degrees as the vape feels warmer at identical settings to my HB dna40. Kanthal mode feels like it's pushing harder as well but works as it should. This thing is tiny tiny tiny lol. My 2 cents as I'm sure everyone has guessed by now is save your money and look elsewhere especially when tried and true cloned chips (kangxin) is much better and cheaper.

Sounds like its close but no cigar (!)...:(
Lol kinda as long as the wicking stays wet it'll work fine albeit similar to regular mode. What I mean by that is same degradation of the cotton, eventually getting that burnt taste I'm sure. But for $70+ bucks kinda steep for a half assed tc mode.

EDIT: I will add tho if i'm lucky and have the same faults that bricks this thing for a full refund I would of course do so. But if it survives past that point I might as well buy an authentic or if the KX-50d chip was sold seperately just toss one in there. However at the end of the day i'll still curse myself as I could of bought an authentic rDNA for the same total price. I don't have any experience putting that in but I do know a few people who can and would have to pay a bit more to have it put in.

Just a quick update: Ran to my local B&M shop and snagged a Magma clone, coiled it similar to my Alien rda. Then on a hunch I dialed back the temp by about 110° F and wattage too of course. Runs pretty damn close to the alien on my hb dna40, no hot vape and cotton is holding up decently but still a far cry from original chip.

well some got in before that happened ;)
Beware, there are reasons why they were pulled. Don't think they were SKX either, maybe something similar but reasons lead me to knock off skx chips. Even the zero clones that are thought to be SKX as well haven proven to be junk with TC. Well correction seems to be with the 60w versions. But only came across the gold color having TC issues.

The reasons they were pulled were related to the fact that FT are worried about potential grief from VF and VS about patent infringement afaik. Regardless, mine works fine and others have had good experiences with the VF versions (40/50W).

ok, a quick review with my limited experience (ie about 30 minutes lol)

1. Build quality is very good. No gaps in the casing, screen is good and straight. However, it is very hard to get the batt in (sammy 25R) and then a bit tricky to get the mag door back on flush. I worry about the positive batt connector as it is a spring with the wire soldered onto a small round plate as the terminal. Hopefully it wont just break off but probs an easy fix if it does. Did I mention the battery fit is very tight??
2. Fire button needs a frim push to register (really only a problem with 5-clicks etc). Otherwise button good. Fire lights up blue on fire. No rattles.
3. Fits authentic sharkskin perfectly!!
4. ST mini and nano with Ni heads are dodgy (but they are on everything) - resistance is very low and TP kicks in violently. I havent tried the RBA deck as all three have 0.07ish builds that I have been using on the SX. I will report back on that in due course. Just to say, the nano reads 0.13 on the kangxin VF and the invader mini but 0.9 on the VS..
5. TP works great. Havent tried the cotton test (and probably wont bother) but just vaped a magma drizabone with no dry hit. Vapour just tailed away to nothing as it should. Really nice!

Overall so far I'll give it a 4.5/5. Much better than I was expecting it to be to be honest. For £30 an absolute no brainer...

Ill post some pics etc later or tomorrow!

Nay, on the copyright infringement lol. I did a lil digging around and I guess they only removed from the site due to lack of stock. So thats good news for those whom are interested. Guess I had a little salt in mouth on the "V1" clone I bought awhile ago. So if its working wonders then thats great! I don't need anymore mods I think... But vaping on my mini VF since I got it in. Battery life sucks terribly on these

OK. Hope you are right. I know you had a bad one with the 3fvape vs clone. That sucks :(
Anyway this one works OK so far.
I really like the look of the mini vf. How bad is the battery life? Hard to see why that should be. Wonder if @THE Bloke or anyone else has has the same experience?!? I really need to take it easy on mods for a while. I have a bloody dicodes in the mail as well...lol!

I totally agree with you on the quality. I might order a second one if it was still possible. My fire button doesn't have the problem you seem to have on yours. The seem to put these together somewhat randomly though. The battery spring on mine is on the negative (top of the mod).

There was a discussion on the FT forum though were a representative for FT said that they were pulled due to the copyright thingy. FT usually doesn't unlist items due to them being temporarily out of stock. In fact, they have several items listed that have been "out of stock" for several months (possibly even more than a year).

Whoops I meant negative!! I really didn't test reverse batt yet lol!!
I think the fire buttonn is fine just a bit different feel to the other tc mods I have! I might be tempted by another one if the opportunity arose. And by the way my experiences with the subtank pretty much echo yours so I don't think there is a problem with the mod!!

On the other hand there are so many cheap 'authentic' boxes coming out now with albeit limited warranties etc I wonder whether these clones are really worth the bother any more..

Thats rather interesting but yet we still see a few around on the web. Eh just conjecture at this point as I don't really know either way. I had just seen a few posts about the trouble of getting the item stock too.

Nah it was the one Gearbest had and pulled off due to it being complete ..... Luckily tho mine decided to pull its BS within the warranty time limit. But the same time these earlier clones where unknown chips (not the infinite non-tc clone). But this time they are from a more reputable source. My authentic will back in my hands (had the uncommon issue of battery drain) this thursday whoop whoop.

As for the mini VF just inefficient while in TC mode, otherwise I do like it.

Sounds good. Which VS clone did you get exactly and did you get it from FT?
