OH GOD!!! I AM SO SORRY Figurehead! I'm having a problem with my 2nd battery. I vaped for around 90 minutes straight, and the led started fading. I went to insert the replacement battery, and I got nothing. I tried to re-screw the cap on, and noticed the light come on when the spring on the cap made contact with the battery, but when I got it screwed closed... nothing. I unscrewed it and the spring on the cap fell off. Luckily, it's just a spring, and fit right back in, but it worried me for a sec. I tried the procedure again, and the same thing happened, only this time, the battery housing got hot. I then tried the original battery, and it was working from the get-go. Have you ever had a bad battery? Should I immediately stop trying to get it to work? I don't want to harm the unit, it works great with the original batt. I grieve for your loss. I'm sorry to be a n00b, but can the vp1 manufacturer possibly offer tech support for you? I'll offer a prayer to the vaper gods and goddesses for you.
