Was it in "Brave New World" or "1984" that the 'powers that be' made use of the fact that if there isn't a name for a concept or if the word for that concept is subverted to mean the opposite, that people cannot then think, talk or write about the concept? Example: the word freedom means your right and duty to perform forced labor. [end of rant]
Does this PV regulate voltage upward to some fixed point (5v or 6v) as well as downward, or, at the switch's highest output, yield the voltage the battery puts out at that moment?
I've basically been doing the later with my T6 when using 6v by pressing the mechanical button for about .5 second and then tapping it quickly two to five more times. Even this more complex move gets to be second nature after a while.
I ordered this to use as a 18650 mod. Little sceptical of the price, but it's made from solid brass, nickel plated, and has a variable touch switch. Now coming up on a week since I placed my order. Yankee, how long did it take for you to get your "bill" and then receive the PV?
I went to the other forum, was reading the Precious posts, then decided to try my sig there, uploaded the pic, THEN saw the "insert pic" link...DUH! So without further ado, here is my new sig!
So anyway, I'm reading more about the Precious, never gave the 'variable' part of the switch a thought. I just put my finger on it and vape, haven't tried different pressures to see if it changes anything.
This thing is a tank, very solid. You can put 2 rcr123s in, but I mostly just have one 186650 in and vape at 3.7. Hope this helps.
Caeser just said I am next in line. So hopefully in a couple weeks. Been breaking in my 18650's on a CJB I got 2nd hand. Gonna have to start selling some of my mods as I am starting to look like a mod ......
Agreed. I have tenergies and 18650's. I am comfortable going to 6v on my atty (I use used 510s for this), but don't like the flavor and prefer fresh 3.7's or 5v. I am buying the "precious" because I want a decent 18650 mod as I love the batts. But in the evenings while at home would like to mess with HV. I am hoping I can work the touch button to get the voltage I want with the tenergies. If not, no worries. Regardless it will replace two PV's of mine and I'll hopefully be selling them shortly after getting it. I was between this and the SB...

Think I feel this way too. I wish his web site had text instead of all video....no go for watching them on a slow connection
Very curious to hear more feedback re the variable voltage aspect.

More like PLM (pulse length modulation). However, I do like your idea of Manual PWM. You would need a really large number of monkeys at an equally large number of keyboards to enter instructions at even one mip. Would force you to figure computing overhead in bananas.
We should both shut up. We're blowing the image of us simple island folk. Promise to get less nerdy and make surf'in and fish'in analogies next post;-)
Ho, brah! Yeah, get plenty roosters here could probably rig one to a keyboard - they probably peck in mips! Looking forward to pictures of you on a surfboard with a waterproof PV. ;-)
Are you ordering one of these high-tech Caesar-built vapes?
