Mine arrived today. I got the menu system down but the atty just keeps running dry, my juice is mixed at 80/20 PG/VG which is already way more PG than I like using. I tried blowing, taking the cap off (which desperately needs knurling) etc, it'll feed for a little while then stop again. Over all it's a disappointment and will be delegated to a draw and only brought out to test new flavors by dripping, the JD imho isn't worth the trouble. Guess I'll just go back to my UFS on my GGTS at least that always works perfectly even if it's not vv beyond changing the battery/atty combo.

With a couple of tricks, you will be able to vape the tank dry without too much trouble.

As per SteveM's video, you should try to find out where the feed hole is in relation to the outside of the device. For instance, let's say you have a half filled tank and the feed hole is aligned with the lamp. If you always vape with the lamp 'up' (12:00), the tank will never feed. The natural angle of vaping would keep the juice away from the feed hole. Try to keep the feed hole between 4:00 and 8:00 while vaping. If the system is getting wet, turn the feed hole 'up' (12:00).

A quick and easy one handed method for a dry cup: Put your lips around the top cap, the whole non-knerled top cap (atty inside mouth) and give a very quick blow. This puts pressure into the tank which is relieved by a few drops of juice falling into the cup. Doing it too hard will flood so it takes a bit of trial and error to find the right pressure/length of 'blow'. Once you get it, you never have to fiddle with the cap until it is time to refille the tank.

I hope this info help you out. For me, it took about a week of time to find and implement the tricks to use the tank hassle free. It is such a simple system that it takes a bit more user involvement to get it going. By now it is second nature.

Since receiving the Lv2, I've been trying different tricks as suggested by Keith at Nuvapor. The jd tends to leak at the seams so I have to be conscious of at least having the top portion sit higher than the bottom when I lay it down. I don't leave it on my couch cushion because it'll leak and create a juice spot on the micro fiber.

You also have to be aware of the pg and vg percentage. It flows better with a higher percentage pg mix but may flood the atomizer easier. I do have to keep wiping the juice off near the seams more often than I want to. Another thing is if the well starts to get dry then I have to loosen the cap of the jd to release of the suction holding the juice in the jd so it drips into the well. I'll do it till I hear a slight gurgling when I suck on the drip tip. These are my observations so far.

Also I don't know if the lv1 owners experienced this but if my hands are clean after washing and dry, I'm not getting atty activation with the touch switch until I lick the tip of pointing finger I use to touch the switch and the body. You have to have conductive contact between the touch switch and the body of the Precious.

Some may not know! But the LV2 has been put on hold for a while. Thanks to SOCALVAPSTER! He had a problem with his LV2. Keep in mind this is his first MOD! He waited a little over 2 days for a email response! Then files a PAYPAL claim! I chatted with Mark this morning via Skype. His account has been froze. And he will not look for other payment methods until this Paypal issue is settled. And is not sure what payment method to use in the future.

Chuck,

Does that mean production stopped too or are Ceasar and Mark continuing to build them so they can have a nice run when PP gets straightened out? I hope it gets resolved soon. I thought freezing due to e-cigs only applied to US suppliers (as you can order from TW USA / pay through PP UK).

Not really sure about the production thing:confused:. He was very frustrated this morning ! WELL 5 AM MY TIME! We will see over time i guess?:(

is there a reason that a claim couldnt be made without mentioning e-cigs? i mean really, thanks for ruining it for the rest of us SOCALVAPSTER.
paypal wont resolve this. they have made very clear that they dont want anything to do with e-cigs, so i think this is the end of the precious. rip #143

There are other ways to pay a builder/vender. Wiring the money via western union is one option. Thing is, the fees are much higher and it requires a lot more effort on both ends. I had experience using WU when I bought a Hybrid kit, and it was a PAIN for me. Also, the problem with it is the sender has no real recourse or protection like with PP.

Of course in some cases, this may be beneficial

I really like my Precious Lv2 and will admit I am a fanboi based on the experiences I have had with the ones I have owned. I managed to score a GGTSw/AVS last week and really like it also, so understand those that are huge GG fans. Each have their certain pros and cons... makes it worth keeping one of each around IMO... Hopefully Mark and Caesar get payment sorted and continue on and it doesn't ruin it for the ones that really want one of these.

I'm in line for a Precious L2 (around #182 I think) but being a very personal business for a niche item, I'm not expecting a perfect item to arrive on time. All I want is a juice dispenser like what's on this Precious, that I can use at 6v, and drop in my pants pocket when not in use. If I have to worry about it leaking, it may not be for me. I have a Silver Bullet that I'm happy with for direct dripping, and I can fall back on that if the L2 doesn't deliver. I'll wait for Caesar to work out the flaws and payment problems, and buy it when I get notified. Part of helping the ecig community evolve is to support those on the bleeding edge of technology by buying their products. More power to the Precious, and here's to a promising ecig future!

I think it will be available again. They have a certain amount of invested funds into all the stock and lathe work etc... I believe there is a desire to recoup that. I have one and it is really nice PV actually. Its a toss up between the Lv2 and my GGTS/AVS as my main PV because I hate dripping and those map tanks look frankenstein on my Provari or Lv1.

I can put my finger on it :) It is because it has a minimalistic appearance, is the smallest and lightest HV/18650, juice fed mod out there that I am aware of, and is not a box mod (so tube mod fans like it). The JD is a little finicky and the "tap tap revenge" voltage selection is a little frustrating at times, but in the end, I go to it over my other mods most often. I take mine to work A LOT. I keep it in one of those SD carry pouches that trog/tw sells and it fits perfect (my GGTS/AVS won't because of the switch!). This thing is the same size as my Provari (with 18650 extension on it) AND has the JD attached. Plus it is shiny and only requires a finger touch to activate or turn on/off.

As far as opening another PP account... consider they may have a large sum of funds in the frozen account... and want those funds or need them for lathe work? I dunno. I really hope Mark & Caesar get things sorted.

.... It is because it has a minimalistic appearance....

I wasn't going to say anything sarcastic... I swear I was trying to hold back, be nice, take the high road etc, but you gotta admit, pre-ordering on August 18th and having a relatively low number those two phrases sum up this whole experience .....

Yep- I agree 100% with your comments.
