I have long nails and found it difficult to roll a PBT tight enough and keep it rolled long enough to get it in the cart.

After emptying teabag and cutting into 2 pieces like normal:

My alternative was to just fold it
1) in half
2) fold down the folded edge again about 1/4" to 3/8" (to shorten it enough to fit the cart) then
3) fanfold it across (creasing the folds as I go). Width of fold is width of cart (approx)

Fits into cart without using tweezers or paper clips. Fanfolding it eliminated the straw mod as it gives it sorta baffles. Having the 2nd folded edge to the atty holds my ejuice at the atty end without leaking/flooding.

I can get 18-20 drops in a new dry cart (for a 510) and can top off with 9-10. I could vape it dryer but don't want chance the atty getting dry.

Doesn't wear out or fray or get smushed. Have to remember to rinse out once in a while and it doesn't flatten back out.

Pls forgive my poor photo skills... only have my camera phone...lol. I never could get a good photo with it all the way in & ready to go.

Thats pretty cool. Instead of Fold Roll and Fray you are just doing a Fold and Fan Fold. No need to fray because the bottom part will separate due to the fan fold.

Personally I still like the roll because it wraps around the atty bridge but, if not possible, this is an easier alternative.

GREAT!!

I have long nails too. Found that I can roll the PTB by wrapping it around the straightened end of the paperclip I use to push up my carts. ;-)

I also use a paper clip to clean my FRF PTB mods. I straighten out one end, use it to take the PTB out, move it to the loop part so it holds the PTB, dunk it in hot water, roll the straight part between my fingers to spin the PTB in the hot water then spin it outside the water to 'spin dry.' It will only take a couple of dabs on a paper towel for the mod to be almost completely dry. It is so quick to do.

Fanning fold: I use the FRF PTB mod and after cleaning it as described above I usually squeeze dry it on a paper towel. Now that you mention it ends up folded anyway. I would loosely squeeze the sides to make it back into rolls. If you have problems rolling it I dont think there would be a problem using the roll as fold over fold that is similar to the fan. The benefit would be that you would still have concentric circles that allow the material to surround the atty bridge. There may be other advantages of the fan fold. I will try it in my next mod, possibly a video, and let you know what I find. I can already think of a couple but Im not sure yet if it will get me off the Roll.

Again, great idea.
