Ya know, I talk to Tim Campbell too. It's been a pretty regular happening lately. He's a great guy. I just don't drop his name all over the place.

One thing that troubles me though, is that you seem to be defending his rebranded version of this mod, even before it's released- and with no experience using the mod. That's really troublesome to me.

It would be nice, if you took the perspective of *vapers* rather than trying to give the edge to a particular vendor. It's the same mod. Some of us have actually used it. And some of us who have used it will be posting honest reviews.

So in closing let me make the following points:

1. Tim is indeed a nice guy and I'm sure he talks to many people in addition to *you* and *me*. (not really important)

2. The Imotion2 V+ and Vario are the same mod. (important)

3. The revision is to accommodate and airflow issue with certain tanks. (accurate information)

Here's a picture of the top cap revision:

The Vario and the Imotion2 V+ aren't the same mod. The Vario will be the American version of the Imotion2 V+ and will be tailored to the American audience. You've been talking smack and he knows about it. I do take the side of vapers and would never recommend a substandard product. If it comes to pass that Tim somehow magically defies all that he believes in to release a product that is less than awesome I will not support it publicly. And, lastly, I have not ever ordered a single thing from VaporBeast and I am not being paid to say anything positive about them other than what I truly believe. I'm sure that, due to his relatively unique position of free shipping on all orders, that will soon change for me but I ask you not to rush to judgement for what you do not yet fully understand. What I do have, that you clearly do not, is hope. I reserve judgement until the final product is released, and unlike you, I do not run away from confrontation when what is said offends me.

What puzzles me is your praise for him only to turn around and spike his punch... I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Instead of revealing to the masses the problems that you have found (to gain popularity or whatever it is you seek) I would instead focus my efforts on making sure that these problems do not come to pass (or to light). That is the difference between you and I. You may like me, you may hate me, but it's meaningless to me. I speak only the truth.

I've been reviewing and testing mods for over 2 years, and have done so honestly. I've also had very open communications with Tim. So I'm sure he knows I post on it.

According to Cigstar (9/7/2012)- they are the same mod. According to Tim, 9/5/2012, it's the same mod.

I'm not running away from anything. And have nothing to hide.

I just can't understand, how a guy who's never done business with a particular vendor, is recommending a mod they've never used, is bashing reviewers who have been testing it, and claiming that the guy who has both the test unit and the final unit (sans airflow grooves) doesn't know what he's talking about.

And the really funny thing? I haven't said anything about the final revision yet!

So what was your point again?

Even though this back and forth is very entertaining and somewhat informative it is also pointless. since many of us have the Imotion2 v+ already ordered and will be reviewing them soon and it seems that Tim will be putting out his Vario fairly soon as well. So all the info on the units will see the light of day soon enough. Then the people can see for themselves if the units are the same or different and they can see if they are good quality or inferior.

for the past week I have been fallowing the posts of these ECF members: cozzicon, ShogaNinja, DantesInferno, Pappy and it seems like everyone has something to huff and puff about when it comes to the Imotion2 v+ / vario. Yes I admit some things said about the units maybe informative or a good argument, but for the most part everyone is getting there panties in knots before there is a single review or bit of solid information on the units out there yet for the public.

We all know the specs and have seen the pictures but now its time to step away from your keyboards and if you have a unit there to test start your testing and make us up a video! :p if not then sit back and wait for your chance to watch them.

I just wanted to give everyone an update from Tim (the owner of Vaporbeast) and clear some confusion up. First things first, the Cigstar Imotion2 V+ is NOT the Vario. Please do not refer to it as such. The review models that have been sent out up to this point are not great and they are not going to ever be the Vario. So don't worry about that.

The Vario review model was rejected by Tim due to some dealbreaking issues (most of which have been discussed already). If Cigstar cannot address these issues properly and give Tim the APV he wants then he promises he will back out. He's not going to stake his reputation on something that is less than "beast". These are his words. Does that mean everyone should take what has been said about the Imotion2 V+ to heart? No, they are not the same APV. The Vario be an evolution of the Imotion2 V+ that meets every standard he has asked for, or it will be the ship that never sailed. What it's not going to be is a failure on Vaporbeast's part. So now the ball is in Cigstar's court to either give him what he wants or he walks.

I also wanted to let people know that the Vario will come with a significant warranty (probably in the 90-120 day area), but we've also discussed an option for an extended warranty that you pay for (like the Provari) so we will see if that comes to pass in the near future or not.

In conclusion, (based on these recent developments in the story of the Vario) the release date has been pushed back a minimum of 2 months, and a maximum of never. If we're lucky we'll see it before Christmas, if we're not then Cigstar can sail the Titanic all on its own without the help of Vaporbeast. I'll be posting more information as soon as Tim finds out more how this story develops. Keep the faith going. If it all works out we'll have a new contender on the market.

I don't think I could be seen with one of these (Imotion2 V+ nor Vario)!

For crying out loud, LOOK AT IT!

It may vape great, have a long battery life and last forever....For crying out loud, LOOK AT IT!

I think I saw one of these a few years ago in the back room of one of those truck stops between Chicago and Milwaukee (I think it had a long battery life, too)

I mean....For crying out loud, LOOK AT IT!

Thank you.

PS - I think I might have seen one of these in Barbarella, too.
