Honestly I'm not sure. Knowing them you'll probly have to buy it separate. But I could be wrong on that. If I find out I will come back and post it up here.

Yeah it's made of delrin and there is no drip tip with this top. You get to use whatever tip you like. That's another reason why I got it.

So how do you like it, is this the dt solution we've been waiting for?
Edit-nvm, I've got my eye on the comp cap now that it's been brought to my attention...

VLS listened to everyone and now they made this! The vector comp cap.

No freaking way that's exactly what I was talking about, this is literally the perfect solution to the problem. This just proves it, VLS is a really awesome company that's putting out some amazing hardware. Do you know where you can buy these and what they go for? Thanks for showing us this Heisenberg = ]

Flat head screws in the last pic are on my Velocity rda.

Got em from Avid Vaper.
How much were they? I've got my velocity rda, along with a few other Vape goodies, arriving today (I'm dying with anticipation) and I'm thinking it may be a good idea to grab some of those screws as backups, since I've got the tendency to strip out hex screws. I've already gone through all of my spares on my vector and I'm just dreading the day when one of the installed screws strips...I just don't know what I'm going to do.

Yeah it looks pretty nice right! I feel like it should come with the vector honestly but it probably won't. I think this is the way the vector should of came in the first place or have the option. And I'm not sure how much or when it's released, they haven't said yet.

I'd definitely agree with you, but we all know there would be the stampede of people throwing a fit because it didn't come with a drip tip...

twisted 28g dual coil 7 wraps 3mm ID 0.45ohms flavor is okay still finding a build also to maximize this rda
Ya, I have definitely had builds that put out flavor that blew me away, so I know the vector can perform better than it is with most of my builds. I just don't know what I need to adjust or change to kick it into next gear. I'm also getting a lot of spit back, but that's pretty much been a constant since I got it =\

Btw, has anyone tried the Sapor rda? I was really blown away by it. Like I got the velocity clone by tobeco at the same time and was sort of disappointed bynit, especially after all the insane hype about it. Like even for a hyped device this was super hyped. It really leaks a lot also, smh
I tried a Clapton coil on it but I wasn't too crazy about the performance? Maybe too many wraps...? It's 26 gauge claptoned with 32 gauge. I did 7 wraps around a 3 mm bit, came out to 0.55 ohms. I think I'm gonna try 5 wraps around a 2.5 mm bit, hopefully that'll do the trick. This build is on the velocity btw and I'm trying to find a better build for it. If anyone thinks it'll help them give better advice/insight, I can post some pics of the build...

I love this thing! .26 ohm coil in now, it could be a little lower, but it's dense and flavorful and doesn't leak. You do have to build the coils pretty out to the side and leave a lot of room around them for the airflow to work well but the extra space under the negative posts fits cotton perfectly, leaving room for the air to "scoop up the flavor" as VLS calls it

I don't own a vector but lately I've been looking into top airflow atty's. I've seen the Sapor (I may buy it just because a local B&M has them for $30), and I think of it as a trial run in a way before I drop $60+ into a top airflow atty. I've been looking into the Vector and the Aeolus v2, and while I understand the deck "problem" with the Aeolus, I don't see it as such a problem, because I know the gap between atty and mod is part of the 2 piece deck design of it. Now, while the Aeolus accepts 510 drip tips, I understand the Vector does not. And I don't want to have to buy another piece just to have it fit standard DT's.
I like features of both atty's and I understand the drawbacks of both. So could someone help me out and sway me in one way or the other?

Tom, I own 4 Vectors all bottom feeders. I use the stock top cap and tip woth zero issue. The build deck is as easy as they come for high dual coils just under the ample airholes. Flavor and vapor is the best for me. My build on everyone of them is a 7/6, 2.5mmID, 26gA1 comes in at .4. It's a sure thing for me and I highly recommend.

I posted earlier in this thread about my mxv2 base working with the vector topcap. This however exited me way more! A coworker of mine had a velocity mini clone from fasttech that he didn't want so I gladly took it off of his hands, the rda itself is terrible, the top cap barely even sits in place. BUT I switched out the base o rings for the spare vector ones and the vector top cap now fits on the velocity mini base! Coil building heaven with the best top airflow design yet, worth the 8.50 or so even if I hadn't got it for free!
