Velocity Coil Build Recommendations?

So I'll start off by saying I don't frequent on here as much as I should, or as much as I'd want to.. but every single time I do come on here and make a post or read other peoples post it's always nice and friendly people and it's friggen amazing to see that. Anyways I made a post back not too long ago asking what would be a good setup and if the one I was looking into was worth it, anywho can't remember who recommended me the Velocity but my god I'm glad you did because I'm straight LOVING this RDA. I also picked up a Cuboid too and I'm enjoying it much much more then my single 18650 KBOX mini . Anyways, to the point of this thread.. now that I can push more power, build lower then .3, what would be better wire to use for building coils? I'm more of a flavor with a chance of clouds type of guy. I've been using 26g kanthal but would 24g do better justice for me? If anyone has experience with this RDA or you have a favorite build let me know. OOHHH and also, it's best to put the coils as close to the center as you can right so when you're dripping juice down there it gets on the coil or does it not matter as much since it'll feed into the cotton anyways?

TL;DR version: Appreciate the niceness from this community. What gauge kanthal would be the best for building my coils now that I can push more power and watts, I see everyone using 24g and not too sure if it'd be better on flavor and or clouds. Does the coils have to be as close as possible to the middle or does it not matter so much since the wick touching the deck soaks everything up still?

Please let me know some good builds to throw in this beast of an addy.. as of yet I don't have all of the types of wire to do crazy builds like claptons.. so keep that in mind please. Thanks everyone, have a great day/weekend!

The best place for your coils are right in front of the airhole's and as close as possible without actually touching the cap, test the resistance without the topcap on and then again with it on to make sure the resistance stays the same, if it changes with the topcap then you could be touching which is bad!

Your wicks tails will soak up whatever you drip down into the rda, dont worry

One thing to mention while im here is that some people find that the velocity leaks juice onto the mod a little or they have juice under the rda, most of this comes from taking off and putting on the topcap as you are pushing juice down past the o-rings on the outside of the deck, they way to get over this is to leave the topcap in place and drip through the driptip instead.

Why not try twisting 2lengths of your 26g to see how you like it, it will be close to 24g, twist it tight.
I dont have a build for you but use Steam Engine main page and put the wire in as 24g for a rough estimate..

a good easy build for lots of cloud and flavor is a parallel build

take a small length of your 26 awg around 8 inches of wire fold it in half and squeeze the fold with pliers and then add 2 or 3 tight twists at that end then wrap the wire around your drill bit or coil rod .

while wrapping the wire keep the now twin wires side by side , do not let them over lap each other .when you have the desired amount of wraps keep hold of both the wires and twist the finished end a couple of times ,and you are done ,trim off any extra wire left and fit

the couple of twists at either end help when mounting the coils as it keeps the wires together and just makes fitting them easier

this is on my aromamizer which has a velocity style deck but smaller than the velocity RDA so is easier to build larger coils in the velocity RDA

you can build vertical or flat what ever you prefer

they produce plenty of both flavor and vapor .
