Sorry VCV we got TOTALLY off topic here, but I will share two of my favorite good/bad puns:

--What do you call a mirage on an Alaskan island?
--An optical Aleutian.

And...

--Did you know that the capital of Taiwan is filled with driven, aggressive overachievers?
--Of course. They've all got Taipei personalities.

Here are two real-life puns that I swear I'm not making up: The company that services the elevators in the building where I work is called "Schindler's Lifts" :D
And I just encountered a range of fuzzy toys called Get Stuffed :D

We interrupt these puns for a quick message:

I just got around to cleaning out my dripping atty and tried VCV's Maple Mountain, which I've had steeping for a few days.

The site describes it as "A rich creamy unique blend of waffles, maple, and other delicious breakfast tastes."

My take on it: Yep, the maple's definitely there. It's not strong or overly sweet, though, probably partly because of this being a 100% VG juice, like all of VHV's. I like my juices understated, though, so I'm perfectly OK with the maple not slamming me in the face as I vape it.

What's really interesting to me is the "other delicious breakfast tastes" part. I'm picking up what I think is a touch of cinnamon on the exhale. Not the "red hot" kind, the cinnamon bun kind... and that's really what it tastes like to me: a warm cinnamon roll that's been sitting on a plate next to some pancakes, and managed to soak up a little bit of the syrup.

Based on the description, I figured this was going to be one I either loved or hated, and it definitely fell on the "love" side. This is definitely going to be a good vape to start the day with... or to end it with. I mean, breakfast is an all-day thing, right?

IMTrick, I bought that even though I have had zero luck with maple/pancake/waffle/French toast liquids. The way the site describes it is really appealing and it's great to hear you confirm that.

I am a bit worried about the cinnamon though. Hopefully it is just a wisp of cinnamon and doesn't give me that gnawing-on-a-cinnamon-stick mouth burn.

It's definitely not overpowering. It's just there in the background... to be honest, I can't even say for certain that it's actually cinnamon I was tasting... it was just a hint of spice on the exhale and not in the least overpowering.

But, hey, you know how different people taste different stuff. YMMV and all that, but I don't think you've got much to worry about.

Good, good.

Have you bought any of the tobaccos? Now that I know you are a Serendipity lover I can trust your judgment;)

I've got some of the White Beard Tobacco here that I haven't got to yet... Seems like a good time for it. Just a sec while I clean this atomizer out...

Interesting. Not really what I was expecting out of this. Here's the description from the site:

"Medium Tobacco flavoring, butterscotch, custard, and other 'old-time favorites'"

Just based on that, I was expecting something a bit like an RY4... a little tobacco with a sweet exhale. This definitely isn't an RY4. For starters, the tobacco is a bit more prominent than most RY4's. "Medium" probably is a good word for it... It's definitely got a pipe tobacco flavor, but not a heavy one (which doesn't surprise me, since the other VCV juices I've tried so far have been somewhat light). There's a faint hint of coffee, and just a touch of the butterscotch mentioned in the description. There does seem to be something custard-like, but it's not so much a flavor on its own, but more like a subtle, hard-to-notice glue holding the whole thing together, and adding some creaminess to the texture of it.

This one's pretty complex, and probably a bit more traditionally tobacco-flavored than something like a Gandalf or a Boba's Bounty... If I were to compare it to an HHV juice, it would be something like a lighter-flavored Serendipity, but where Serendipity has a noticeable amount of sweetness to it, White Beard has very little, and the sweetness it does have is all on the inhale... Serendipity's shows up on the exhale.

There are a lot of tobacco-based juices I'd recommend to people who don't like the taste of tobacco. This probably isn't one of those juices -- the mellow pipe-tobacco flavor is definitely front and center on this one. But as a tobacco flavor, it's really very good. Maybe not an "all-day vape" kind of juice, but it strikes me as a really good choice to relax with after dinner.

I am so psyched for this order now. Thanks Trick for the in-depth review.

No problem! It's always fun trying new stuff, especially when it's good.

They also threw in a bottle of Watermelon Bubblegum, which doesn't seem to be available on their site. Frankly, I'm a little scared of it -- that's definitely not a flavor I would have chosen on my own. But, hey, flavors have surprised me before, and I did go through a lot of Watermelon Bubble Yum back in the day.

Do they still even make Bubble Yum, or did I just let on how ancient I am?

I received my order of burley beard today. Julia threw in mewlews magic and white beard, too. I know I should let these steep, but I can't put mewlews down. Not at all! It is soo delicious! The burley and white beard seem very good, but I think they will benefit from steeping. Absolutely wonderful customer service! But yeah I feel like I'm packing on calories vaping mewlews-if it gets better with steeping, I will likely go insane-this from a non-dessert vaper! Definitely coming bak to this company again!

Mewlew's really is good stuff. It does get better with a little steeping, though. Not a lot of time is needed, but the chocolate just gets deeper and richer if it sits for a while.

And I'm a happy vaper. I got my next shipment from VCV yesterday. I got 30ml of Maple Mountain Breakfast (which I have come to love with an insane passion that only breakfast-related items like sausage, bacon, Monte Cristo sandwiches and now this juice can invoke). On my order I left a note something like "Maple Mountain is rocking my world. More please!" So what did they do? They sent more. I got an extra 15 ml bottle snuggled right up against the 30ml one I'd ordered. It strikes me as a little counterproductive business-wise to give me something free that I'd gladly pay for, but hey, I'm not going to complain.

I also got 15ml of Night Shift after reading some really good reviews of it, and Monkey Business sounded pretty tasty, so I got 15ml of that, too. I'll make sure to update the thread once I start digging into those.

Somehow 15ml of Campfire, which sounded pretty awesome on the site (especially after seeing how good Mewlew's was), ended up in the order, too... which was really cool, because I hadn't ordered that one, either. They had sent me a full 30ml of juice in addition to my 60ml order.

Now, I have no idea if they do this all the time. I don't know if it's related to how I've been telling anyone who asks how much I've been loving VCV's juice (though I suspect it doesn't, because they'd have to be awfully observant to have tied my name here to the one on my order). I don't know if it was just a fortunate mistake. However, as a human being, I really appreciate free stuff, and there was a lot of free stuff in this shipment.

Anyway, I have an ample stock of Maple Mountain Breakfast, and a bunch more VCV juices to try out, so I'm pretty happy right about now.

After steeping it for a few days, I just loaded up a tank with Night Shift. And, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'm really liking it. I'm definitely seeing a pattern here. Everything I've tried from VCV has had distinct, yet not overwhelming flavors. I'm sure that's related to them using 100% VG for all their juices, but one thing I've noticed from a lot of 100% VG vaping is that most flavors just don't work as well as the ones I've tried from VCV without at least a little PG. They definitely know how to work with what they've got.

Night Shift is another chocolate-based vape, and I was really expecting it to be a lot like Mewlew's Magic Blend. It's actually quite a bit different. It's a bit darker of a chocolate, no doubt in part from the coffee notes. The "chocolate doughnut" description on the site is pretty accurate; there's definitely the chocolate and the bakery feel to it. However, the chocolate leans a bit more toward the semi-sweet variety than did Mewlew's. That's perfectly fine by me, since the darker chocolate flavor compliments the coffee very well.

I can't be completely sure, but the doughnut may also have a light sprinkling of peanuts on it... though that may just be the bakery notes playing off the chocolate and coffee, or it may be that I really like chocolate doughnuts with peanuts on them, and I'm engaging in some wishful tasting. I seem to be tasting peanuts in places were they aren't lately, but that's a personal issue I don't think I need to go into for the purposes of thus particular juice review.

I don't regret immediately going for the 30ml bottle on this one based on my impression of Mewlew's. It's very good, if maybe a little on the rich side for an all-day vape. I've also got to say I'm really impressed. I've had a lot of really bad chocolate vapes over the last couple months or so, to the point that I was starting to believe good ones didn't exist. Whatever VCV is doing with these, the world would be a better place for chocoholics if they'd share it.

I love the website and those who have tried the juices make them sound yummy. I don't need anymore juice, but I guess that hasn't stopped me before :D

If these guys make a bad juice, I haven't found it yet. I'll keep trying, though. :)

(I'm going to note here that I'm still afraid of Watermelon Bubblegum and haven't worked up the guts to try it. I'm almost hoping I'll hate it just so I sound like less of a shill for VCV than this thread is making me out to be.)

Just got my shipment in today.

White Beard
Caramel Tobacco

They threw in some Monkey Business too!

Gave them all the warm bath treatment and loaded the White Beard into my Vivi Nova.

All I can say is my Boba's is going to be going on vacation for a bit. I'm gonna vape at least two tanks of this today. It's absolutely the business. Love it! A+
